Fischer Extension?

Fischer is not the kind of guy you give an extension to. Plenty to be excited about with his power profile, but there's also certain risk that he doesn't make enough contact as he moves up levels.

And unlike our other extensions, there's no floor of defense and speed to fall back on.

I would be surprised if we gave one to him at this point in time.

Robert Murray confirms no Fischer extension or any talks of it. Also no talks with Made about one currently although I’d expect that to change over this offseason

I certainly hope so for Made.  I think a Jackson type deal makes sense for both sides. 

I know there is more risk with pitchers.  But I still think there is some mutual benefit for Miz & Harrison.  Assuming they can both stay healthy and effective, they are going to start getting some nice increases once they get to the Arby years, but that can all quickly go up and smoke like it did for Woodruff and Priester.

Heck, I’m sure that the injury and less effectiveness has really hurt. What Skubal will get in the off-season
