Just want to say a quick note of thanks to those who frequent the minor league portion of this page. It is such a breath of fresh air compared to the chaos that happens on the main board and in the IGT.

Just baseball talk. Just facts. Casual disagreements and casual agreements. Everyone trying to learn and enjoy the process. No one needing to be right.

Feel like this is a name I haven't seen mentioned much but Osiris Ramirez hit another HR today. 8 on the season and his OPS is .985. Looks like he was a bigger bonus guy with a $450K signing bonus

Not only that, as you adeptly point out, but he's just 17 years old back in May. Very palatable 23 % K rate with a 32:26 K:BB in 139 PA's. AND, nearly equal split between 2B/SS/3B (10/8/8 G's, respectively) and he clears 95.9% FP% at all three positions (100% FP% at the more demanding SS, no less) with a mere 3 errors. This is an extremely interesting profile. I was looking at him this past weekend before today's output.

It's also worth pointing out, with today's two victories the DSL Gold are now atop their Division by 1.0 G. Just an incredible turnaround after their stumbling early days.

Here are all the BrewerFanatic “Osiris” mentions, some more prominent than others. Agree with you to some extent, especially on a national basis, but the daily Link Reporters have given him a fair share of gravitas given his age and contributions.

I mean even on this site he hasn't been mentioned as much as other big performers in the DSL this year like Moneys and Matos.

Spencer has been writing about him, btw @wiguy94. I reached out and asked specifically and he had this to say:

Yes I'm not saying nobody has talked about him. I feel you and Jim are getting a little defensive like I'm attacking the write ups. I'm not. I'm more just talking about the general commenting and discussion. Guys like Moneys, Matos, and Frontado have been getting a lot more love and discussion and even the search results on this site back that up. That's all. I'm not trying to rip on anyone.

Huh? Just so we are clear, I'm not defensive in the least here. Was literally just sharing what Spencer shared with me. Me saying 'Spencer has been writing about him, btw...' is literally Spencer telling me that.😅
