6 innings pitched and 2 runs given up by May.

A bit stressful at times: some hard contact, hard outs, walks, and long counts. But getting similar lines every fifth day for the team would be a big help down the stretch.

All in all, good results today.

But as it stands he’d be firmly behind Miz, Harrison and Henderson in the playoff pecking order for me.

I don’t think they got May to be the 3rd starter. You’re right, the top three are cemented in my mind. Hopefully they can all stay healthy and limit innings.

Getting this to a 5-6 run lead would be amazing for our bullpen situation

Do we not have a closer today?

Not a lot of pitches for Uribe or DadBod Megill last night. But Murph tries to get home with Bryse.

No, you start him in the outfield and start Bauers or Vaughn at DH and the other at 1st.

It’s tough to take Bauers or Vaughn out of the lineup. Bauers has been pretty darn good all season and I want his bat in the lineup

Which is why I’d start one at DH and the other at 1B.

He's not Aaron judge but Vaughn seems to put something on the stat sheet every game.

I’m happy for Yeli that he got a couple hits yesterday and that he got support but there’s no real sign that anything has changed.

They will have a decision to make once Sal gets back. Might be tough to find enough playing time.

If Sal swings hard enough, he will hit that historic 10-run home run.

I am confused: why not hit Ortiz for Hamilton here? You're going to be happy to have Ortiz's glove in there for the last three innings. Makes no sense to me.

Really starting to wonder if Ortiz is completely healthy.  That can be the only reason for Hamilton staying in there vs a LHP, right?

What are we doing? Hamilton against a lefty? That's just idiotic

That explains why I saw Joey's picture on the carton of milk I bought earlier today.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.
