It’s certainly not looking promising … the bases loaded with no outs meltdown in the first inning may have been lethal. This team is no where near as good as its record. I can’t imagine the Brewers will be competitive in the playoffs.

Gasser & Drohan with back to back poor performances in the middle of the 17 straight games is disappointing & could lead to a losing streak with a dreaded west coast trip on the horizon

30th in HR, 25th in isolated power and 19th in slug. That's not gonna get it done in October no matter how good your regular season record was. They get on base because they have the 2nd best walk rate in the league but what's the point of it when you can't slug? Station to station baseball doesn't work vs top pitching which is what you'll see in October. We've learned nothing as a franchise. It's all just hopium at this point.

I'm not. I've already accepted the fact that I will not witness a World Series championship in my lifetime. Teams like the Brewers don't win championships in this day and age.

I attended a WS game in 1982 … I was 21 … Brewers won that game 10-0. As we all know, they lost the series & haven’t returned since. I’m now 65 years old. I honestly believe they are close. Hopefully, they win one soon.
