Pratt rarely looks like a rookie, Lara doesn't have that issue

I wish we would have let Vaughn hit and pinch hit for Lara

Ummmm

For the minors, to be clear. In reference to his comment of hopefully watching Brewers minor leaguers next year.

Guessing they wanted to get better infield defense out there for the late innings.

Until we have a lead I'm not taking my best hitter out of the lineup.

Missed call to make it 0-2 changed that at bat.  Just fully automate the balls and strikes!

Maybe he would have challenged it if he hadn't wasted a challenge on the pitch before that was almost fully in the strike zone.

Is Lara a starting outfielder for us in 3 years?  I'm going to say no and fairly easily.

This IF does look crazy right now

And of all people it’s Bauers who boots one.  I know that’s Turang’s error but Bauers needs to pick that.

Yeah, so far playing crazy too.

Yeah…but that’s a ball Bauers needs to pick.   Brice intentionally bounced it.

What? The Twins catcher challenged the pitch before.

I'm looking at prospects coming up, who we have now and what Lara looks like and what he projects as and asking if he's going to be one of our three best outfielders.

Bauers fails to plate the runner at 3rd and then whiffs on a pick. Guess you’ll live with it when his bat is as good as it is but woof, two bad plays in a row. Brewers coming apart here defensively

Yes. He has like 60 major league ABs and it’s been a mix of good stuff and rookie stuff, exactly what you’d expect. It’s not like he’s just been an outright disaster. He’s been good enough to accumulate 0.4 WAR in that very small sample.

Let’s give the 21 year that the organization felt confident enough to give a super long extension to more than like a few weeks worth of ABs before we write him off as a future starter.
