I’m not sure anyone has ever said that Murphy sucks. That’s a childish phrase. Like many others here, I have praised him for “culture building” (world class) & questioned his “in game decision making” on the regular. I stand by that assessment.

Murphy has had his moments this summer… but either one think he’s been pretty exceptional in the last week or so.  Navigating injuries in the infield and open while playing some pretty good baseball against solid teams.

This is where I am at as well.  I appreciate that Murphy has shown a recent willingness to have an open mind with moving certain players down in the lineup.

Would be nice if Murphy realized that Turang is basically an automatic out against lefties and stopped batting him 2nd against them.

No they just say it is his mismanagement, usually when it's time to bring in the relievers.
