Feels like May has too many putches in his arsenal, and doesnt command anything well enough.  

 

This game might last until tuesday at this rate...both pitchers take forever in their windups

Disagree. The first double was a golf swing. Second double shouldve been caught. His curve has some nice movement, too much where it clipped a guy's foot. certianly not wild.

He needs to learn to work through traffic and maybe could use some more deception on his pitches. Hopefully Hook gets him there.

I know people hate this comparison, but he really profiles higher similarly to Sproat except with more experience.

Every time a pitcher gives up a run, Sanchez always incorrectly challenges the very next borderline pitch that he sees and makes the situation worse.

Literally zero reason for that challenge. It’s the 3rd freaking inning, there’s no one on base and it’s a 1-1 count. For the love of God, Gary.

Wonder if they keep a challenge stat that includes pitches that should be challenged and aren't and challenges that are lost that should not have been challenged.

 Even Miz gives up home runs. This is baseball. I'm not saying Mayday is great, but that wasn't a bad pitch the Texas lawman hit out.
