Tell me Gary wouldn't be our best pitcher tonight.  We could use him now, down by 8 or more.

But can he pitch long relief?  It's somehow only the 4th inning!

I don't know how much that matters.  Hes still one of nine, to many variables in that sample size.  But I do know a guy that's your best hitter, coming off a 10 game hit streak shouldn't be bemched multiple games in a row.

Not sure how accurate this is but chat gbt says they're 45 and 21 when he starts

It’s only one game but this game is the worst of the season. Not close.

So many mental and physical errors. I guess good to get it out of the system early.

I think the Yelich AB in the 4th is the absolute lowlight for me so far. I'm not a Yelich critic, in particular. But that AB was awful, when you're dealing with a chance to maybe get back in it.

Someone posted the number a page or 2 back.  63+ winning % when Yelich sits, 61+ winning % when he plays.

Harrison has gone from a cy young contender to a legit 4 starter in the rotation FIP. Not sure a guy has ever fallen off so fast. That being said, brewers notoriously lose the first game in the series and bounce back. We have our two best scheduled to start Wednesday and Thursday and a very healthy and able back end of the pen rested.

I know it's because of how bad they are losing.  But BA is making me angry.  The gum on the pants, the fawning over Wrigley, the general upbeat talk in a blowout, he can gtfo.  At this point Id rather listen to Levering talk about the staff cribbage games on the road.

He's not here enough to have any idea what's going on with the team or the players.  He's always in national announcer mode.  Find someone who would be happy to get a major league gig and hire him full time and let BA do all his national ****.

The 21 year old that we signed to an 8 year extension was finally starting to figure things out and Murphy really said “nah it’s summer of Sal” and benched him for a replacement level player.

Did anyone think Harrison was really as good as his stats? I know I didn't. I mean there's no taking away from the production and he did what he did. But I was never buying the guy as one of the best SP in baseball.

If my math is right when Vaughn is on the bench they are 40 and 31

He’s closer to Sproat than he is Henderson

People were saying three months ago that if we acquired Skubal he’d be our 3 behind Harrison which is a massive joke.

It’s so weird. He did that with Ortiz when he started to figure it out.  Moved Yelich back up when he was hitting better down in the order .  Vaughns playing time was strange.   They have a tremendous record but I don’t think Murphy has had a tremendous year.

The good thing about Yelich is I think we'll never sign an established MLB player to a long-term deal ever again. Think we've sent that ship out to sea. The only extensions we're doing are Pratt/Chourio deals. But we're not signing veterans for 10 years anymore. We can't and shouldn't.
