He's not as fast as everyone (mainly our announcers) seem to think.  76th percentile sprint speed.  So fast but not the Usain Bolt level that our announcers hype him up to be.

One pitch Miz really needs to improve in his arsenal is that curveball...something mid 80s with a ton of vertical tilt....big velo difference.

 

When that slider isnt sharp everything that isnt a 101 fb looks the same at the same speed

Biggest difference in the series so far is how the Cubs absolutely refuse to swing out of the zone while the Brewers bats are. Joey has been as hot as anyone in the second half, but he swung at two balls way up and out of the zone in that AB.

I know they can't all be 40-HR guys, but it is within all their powers to be more selective.

I n the grand scheme of things this wouldn’t be a horrible loss.     But the way this played out it would be one of the bigger disappointments of the year

the brewers have not played well in these three games.   Thank god gasser gutted it out last night

I get trying to give Turang, who can be one of the better bats in the lineup, a chance to figure some things out against lefties...up until about a month ago. It is getting awfully late to keep banging up against that wall.

Yeah, I completely that Vaughn's hit was a DP off the bat. Watching the replay, I wonder if he was trying not to pull the ball since the SS was playing him that way rather than playing at DP depth.
