Are you capable of rational discussions about current issues with the team, or is it just not physically possible for you to not go full borne extreme strawman with it every time?

I get what you’re saying however IGTs definitely are not the place for rational discussion especially when the Brewers are losing.

It's one thing if guys hit. The lack of strike-throwing is really a problem for Senzatela here.

Haven't put up a zero all day. Very poor pitching. But still a long game here, and I think it really might take 12 or 14 to win it.

Kind of depends on how bad the damage ends up being here. Don’t know if they’ll get out of here with 8.

I understand that, but just to be clear, I am not calling for Kyle Harrison’s release and banishment from the state of Wisconsin. There is clearly a problem with him right now particularly on the road that needs to be fixed in the next month. Which was said after last start.

They rather let the negative nancys continuing to ruin the game threads and drive people away from the site

Gees, I could've sworn it's the Johnny come latelys that take it upon themselves to be confrontational and snooty with every post they make that are driving people away.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Another starter.   3.2 innings.   9 hits.  4 walks.    What a joke.    We still got all next week against the cubs/reds.     Are we really going to sleepwalk into playoffs.

AGAIN.

Hamilton is seeing ghosts at 3rd. How many times is he gonna cost this team runs at third?

He sucks.     He plays way too much

He's king of the strawman and loves acting like he's the victim.

We need to get Hamilton off the team to save the team from Murphy's use of him.

Ortiz needs to be the everyday 3b.

THIS!  I am guilty for being passionate and throwing out some seriously stinky hot takes when I am not happy when the Brewers do poorly, but I do not become a complete ****** to others on the board.  In other words, I don't become an off-putting egotistical lecturer when I see something I don't agree with.   Good grief.

If we get out of here with a Cubs and Braves loss, I'll consider that a win.

And I don't think 9 is going to be enough today. Brewers tend to play these kinds of games in Cincy. Never felt comfy with even a 5-run lead there.

95-97 played well up in the zone earlier. 92-93 doesn’t. Don’t really know what the solution is.

100%. If seriously stinky hot takes ruin your day to the point where you can’t just scroll on by without having to retort, game threads are probably not the place for you.

Hamilton has been better at the plate lately, but his defense has been atrocious lately as well. Might as well have the guy that's been just as good offensively and much better defensively in the lineup.

I think Hamilton is fine as the clear backup IF.  I think Ortiz has earned the 3b job though.  If he goes back to hitting like SS Ortiz, then Im fine to go back to more of a platoon.  But right now, Ortiz shouldn't be sharing time this much.

We’ve been playing this accidental baseball crap for a couple of weeks now.   The pitchers, especially the starters and the defense needs to get back to what gave us the record we have.      This is crap

edit.   It is nice to be able to score some runs though

Harrison needs to be shut down, given one spot start against St. Louis at the end of the month and if he still looks off, left off the playoff roster. He looks cooked.

At the very least, I think an opener next time would be in order. Maybe a tandem start with somebody. Guy obviously needs a change, but I think it also depends on the stakes. Might be worth giving him a start at home if we win the Cubs series or are playing generally low-stakes games (I know people will talk about the bye, and there's something to that too, so it kind of depends on how the next week shakes out).

Reds playing the defense Hamilton hasn't today. Two nice plays there.

Hamilton should be the rarely used bench guy. The one who often comes in late to replace a poor hitter against a RHP, bunt or pinch run. He absolutely could be an asset in that role.

Like with any other job, you have your employees who are among managements’ favorites. In no way I am calling Murphy a bad manager but Hamilton is indeed among his favorites.

You don’t actually believe those takes ruins peoples day? Baseball is a long season with ups and downs. Posters can post hot takes and posters can call them out. It’s a message board.

Frelick has a .627 OPS this season and hasn’t been good lately either.

In what world does he make any sense leading off?

thing is, he wasn't 92-93 today.

He was more like 93-95 and it still didn't work out.
