Honestly, I think this is beyond MLF. He should have been fired because he had his time and there needs to be a changing of the guard. 

But this is just a very bad roster and it is beyond his limitations as a coach. I really think LaFleur would be fine if you're the Saints or something and you've got a young QB and you just want to get back to the playoffs. But my gripe was mostly game management and what he does once you're in the playoffs. 

This mess is on the GM. He gets the talent.  Nothing LaFleur could do with this assortment would make them much better.

I defintely would not blame LaFleur or any of the offensive staff (including Butkus) for that offensive line.  That is 100% on Gutekunst.

Maybe, but it would be out of character for pro sports teams wherein demand for tickets stays hot when the product on the field is bad for an extended period of time

People have a habit of underestimating how many people have a lot of money to spend. It's how the majority of people can be struggling but places like Disney World increase profits and people pay $1600 for one ticket at the World Cup. 10% of America is a lot of people and it's enough to sell tickets to random events. Yes the common refrain is credit cards etc. but the other side is that there are also a lot of Americans with a lot of money.

I'm sure the demand will go down, but last time I looked they could kick out every season ticket holder and refill the stadium with the waiting list.  People will their tickets to their kids... Packer fans are different.

Nah, fans are fans. At the end of the day money talks, and people will find better things to do with their money if the team went in the toilet for an extended period of time.

I have to own up.  I thought this would be an easy victory for the Packers.  My prognosticating skills are clearly diminishing with old age.  Despite that, I did predict that this offensive line would suck, but predicting that was as easy as predicting the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning,

Just saying nah doesn't make something untrue. 

I went on the waitlist in 2014. I was about 110,000, and in that time they've added seats to the building. Those are the only years it had really moved, when they added seats. I am 91,000. 

I will never get off that list, my 12 year old son projects to, when he's about 65. Prolonged losing might make it 55, but it's not going to do what you're suggesting.
