Argue if you want but...it is my opinion that Fielder would outproduce Overbay right now.

ok, Im going to comment on the wild card. Im soooo tired of reading the percentages of what team X has to do from now on to win 86 games or whatever number. The fact is....ALL of the wild card contenders arent very good teams. Any or all of them , yes ..all 6 can have an UNDER .500 record the rest of the way. No sense in "predicting" that the Astros, Phillies, Mets, or Marlins will continue at a .508 to .533 pace or even anything similar. I' stand with the few who say the Brewers (if they get hot) CAN win the wild card.

if the season ended yesterday they would have both been on playoff teams.

 

AL East+ playoffs = BoSox. So it's gotta be 'Tek, Manny, Damon, or Ortiz.

I agree that the Brewers CAN win the WC - it's not likely, but they can do it. But I would never rain on someone's parade if they want to root for it. (I will mock them mercilessly if they get too upset when the Brewers are out of the race, though).

That would be shocking but a Yankee doesn't fit the description of an AL east team that as of yesterday would qualify for the playoffs. That fits Boston only.
