Is it wrong that I'm dancing around the living room like an idiot after Weeks' single?

Nope...even my girlfriend was hootin' and hollering and she hates baseball.

And Billy Hall gives us the lead. I'm gonna go dance some more.

Small ball.... yipee... way to not play the %. You have 9 outs left and you give one away, o yeh and you waste your best hitter. I HATE that.

Worked out quite nicely, though.

The young infielders are getting the job done tonight...

yep, and the Crew has pulled off several well executed hit-and-runs in the last 5-10 days. I know they look terrible when they don't work. But those are the backbreakers for other teams.

Can Jenkins get out of my doghouse? Come on Geoff!

Nope!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif

My 6 year old son has more patience at the plate than Jenkins.

I'm so excited about Rickie Weeks the Brewer, I almost forgot that I picked him up and inserted him right into my fantasy baseball lineup last night.

2-4 with an RBI is a very nice night at 2B.

Nasty, Weeks first AB was a liner to the right of Thome and he made a good diving catch. As for Weeks, he is impressing me at the moment, but I'm not quite ready to proclaim him the Brewer's saviour.

And for every reaction, there is an equal and oppostie reaction. Which explains Jenkins at the plate right now.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Wow I'm glad that it looks like i may have quit on this game a little too early on my earlier post. Great clutch hitting by Rickie but more of the same from Geoff. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Sac bunts aren't the worst thing in the world when it means advancing two runners. According to BP's expected runs matrix, you lose about .14 expected runs by advancing runners to second and third and taking an out.

Jenkins has been caught in between all year. Behind fastballs, ahead of off speed stuff, and it's not looking like it's going to change overnight. I wonder why he changed his swing from back in his successful seasons? The high bat waggle, and the high leg kick. It may have led to lots of strikeouts, but at least it worked for him.
