They gotta push Brooks in for three.

Since he's already pitched the past two days?

How many consecutive days do you think he can go and still be effective?

The Crew needs to close this out. I will sleep so good tonight if Mil wins and Overbay continues his doubles barrage all in one night!!

CBS sportsline is shwing Burba warming up. Assuming that he can go, does Yost PH for Ford? Or let Ford try another inning?

Nice job by Davis tonight. The Brewers might be able to get by with only two relievers which is really the best that could be hoped for.

Is it time to point out that Grieve now has a higher BA, OBP, and SLG than Brady Clark?

By 100 or so points. The gap is even larger if you take out Brady's 1 huge game against St. Louis the first week of the season.

I'm always bashing Davis, so I gotta give him props tonight. That's a quality line across the board, and he couldn't have put it up at a better time. His 4.75 ERA looks pretty good right now.

To cut myself some slack, I'm also always pimping Grieve over Clark, and I'm feeling pretty secure about that right now. As for Overbay . . . my God. 110 AB is a small sample, but 15 doubles isn't. The man can flat-out produce, and he's remembered how to walk, too.

This just in: Dave Burba is human.

Greg.
