Spivey was asleep that whole sequence. Didn't bust ass out of the box, then gets picked off. He must be devastated.

Looks like you and I are the only ones with the stomach for this game Bill.

I honestly don't recall seeing Moeller getting any 2 out hits with RISP this whole season. Maybe those hits were in meaningless situations where the outcome of the game was already decided. Otherwise I would remember them more.

I don't have time to peruse the game logs (I might if you were hating on Ginter, but not Moeller http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif ), but he's also hit better than normal in "Close and Late" situations (OPS of .730). It's just a product of luck, but I don't care... anything that gets him in the lineup more in place of Gary Bennett is a-okay with me.

And RoCo, I have quite an ample midsection... otherwise, I might not last much longer watching this team "hit" http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif .

Maybe Nedley should pull a page out of the Lopester playbook and drop Geoff in the batting order to say #8. That 0.740 OPS is just killing us in the #3 hole.

Bill, I think "hit" in this case is a relative term, wouldn't you agree?

I remember when I had to explain to my young son that a "HIT" was not recorded every time a batter put a ball in play, rather a hit was only when said struck ball resulted in the batter safely reaching base. Maybe we can petition for them to change that rule for the Brewers.

Just because we don't post after every single pitch doesn't mean we've given up on them.

Harsh, dude. We're on the same side... ya' know, the one that can't hit?

I don't know about anyone else, but I post here so I can vent my anger. Without brewerfan, what would I do? Kick my dog?

Maybe not 8, but at least a couple spots. He's taking ABs away from Overbay, Ginter, and Grieve. It's not like anyone is on fire right now, but Jenkins needs to "man up" and accept the lineup demotion. Really, the only reason he bats where he does is because he makes a lot of money and Nedley doesn't want to hurt his feelings. When that's your justification for filling out the lineup card, you need to rethink things.

LOL... that reminds me of a little girl who goes to my brother's games and never stops talking. She thinks every pitch is a "ball" because, well, it is... the "ball" was thrown by the pitcher, and so it should be a "ball", right? What the heck is a "strike"? She still hasn't figured out how the "ball" changes into a "strike" even though it looks the same.

Maybe I'll change user names and start over at 0 posts so I'm not considered one of the jaded, stubborn, old schoolers.

Maybe you could have Brian delete all your posts and we could pretend you're new. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm in love with Jose Guillen. I just can't help it. Wow. No, don't you remember what everyone told us? He's a one hit wonder they said. Is he still a one hit wonder? If X were a GM, Guillen would be making me look genius.

I made a statement to Bill. I thought it was OBVIOUS it was a joke. I'm not the one that keeps bringing it up. Wow. You're the one that took offense that "not everyone that doesn't have 1,000 posts here isn't a diehard." Can we drop this now?

Can we get back to talking about the game and complaining about the hitting?

Thanks.

Yeah, I remember vividly. I wish those threads were still around, 'cause they'd be real nice "told you so" material, huh? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

And Brewer Fever, what did we do? If I offended you, I'm sorry.
