Anyone played this yet? I'm not a giant first-person shooter fan, but this game is a must-have.

I got it Friday and got so hooked on the game that I beat it by yesterday afternoon. It does really draw you in unlike any other game that I've played in a while. There is so much to do and so many different aspects to the game that I've actually started over just to play around with some of the different options.

i almost bought it today.... but i decided getting hooked up to xbox live was a priority (had to buy extra internet cables, etc.). i plan on buying that soon after i get eternal sonata.

 

also, my xbox live name is buckytuba for anyone who wants to play me in ncaa2008... (i am terrible so far, 0-3)

already beat it twice to get both endings, but haven't touched it in the past week. i'm gonna wait a while before i play it again to make it a fresh experience again. But wow, what an amazing game. First time i played it i played it in two 10 hour gaming sessions, it drew me in that much. Gotta say, i made the mistake of harvesting all the little sisters the first time, it was much easier the second when saving them cause you get so much more out of it. The game play is inovative and amazing, but the real gem of the game is the storyline. I haven't seen a storyline in a game this good since Ocorana of time.

It looks good, but I hvae a hard time justifying $60 for a game that I can play through in a weekend. Would this be a good game to rent? Does it last for more than 20 hours.

I'm making it last (I'm about 3/4s done). Wonderful game. I've really slowly made my way from area to area. There's just so much to look at in each environment.... how a singel player FRP shooter should be.

 

I also checked and you can get $30 in a trade in and game Stop will give you an extra 20% if you put it towards halo 3. If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to sell someone my copy for $35 in about 2 weeks. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Somebody should take you up on that offer. I would, but I think in 3 weeks I will be playing Halo 3 and not much else.

I beat the happy ending and am planning on playing it again. It's my favorite game for the 360 so far.......at least until Halp 3 and then probably Mass Effect.

Really looking forward to Mass Effect. Loved KOTOR games. Played both multiple times.
