Maybe he's not hitting in AUG/SEPT this year because we are in a pennant race

The Red Sox/Yankees game is only through 4 1/2 innings despite playing for 2 1/2 hours. That's what happens when you cross Dice-K's slow delivery with Boston and New York's tendencies to work deep into counts with every AB.

 

Edit: Bill, Wisconsin's game against The Citadel tomorrow isn't exactly "big".

This is not a knock on Yost's managing abilities, but Ned's typical "self-breast grab" stance just looks absolutely ridiculous to me.
