I'm having a hard time understanding how Menotti's pic's relate to the countdown to opening day. Can anyone enlighten me?

I switched the avatar because I figured 90% of the posters didn't even know who it was...

Menotti is playing off the birthday of the photo subject. John Lennon's birthday was 10/9 for example, so a picture of John Lennon showed up on countdown day 109.

Ben Crenshaw = 1/11

LL Cool J = 1/14

Matt Damon = 10/8

Eartha Kitt = 1/17

 

I assume the latest picture is supposed to be Charles Woodson, birthday 10/7. But I think it might be Desmond Howard, birthday 5/15, which wouldn't make any sense.

well done. and thanks for catching the woodson thing. i only had a minute to find a picture of a 10/7 guy, and when i searched woodson, that picture came up and i used it without really looking at it...

Only problem with the Charles Woodson reference is that the top picture is Desmond Howard, not Woodson. Woodson wore #2 at Michigan.
