Need advice quick (tipping)

Just moved into a new house in marshfield. We bought a couch, love seat and bed set. They are delivering it to us today between 11:30 and 12:30. It cost us 50$ for them to bring the stuff over to are house and bring in. Do we tip these guys? Or is that included in the 50$ that we paid for them to come over?

I'm a pretty liberal tipper, and I've never even considered tipping in a circumstance where I'm already paying a huge fee to get something delivered. I know the delivery people aren't really getting that fee, but anything beyond a soda or two and you'd be better off just renting a U-haul and delivering it to you yourself.

how much?

are they setting up the bed? or just bringing it in? Id say nothing more than $5 each. If I remember correctly, the company I worked for charged more for delivery than $50, but that was like 7 years ago.

I know they choose to work there, but being a furniture delivery guy sucks...I tip, but then again, my gf yells at me because I always tip well. I even tip at Chinese buffets.

Ditto to the beer or $5ish suggestions.

There's something great about having a nice cold beer after moving a bunch of furniture. It just tastes better

If these guys are on the clock, I think I'd think twice about offering them a beer.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Nothing wrong with offering them a small gratuity, but if you are paying $50, most would agree that's plenty.

$5-7 a piece would be considered fine. $20 each would probably put you on a godlike level.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
