Softball Team #2 Details -Getting Going-

So far, your new captain Kenny (bball123h) and I have been going over some details and we have found that it would be best for us to try securing a spot in the following leagues:

MS-166

or

MS-161(preferred) (Wednesdays preferred)

 

 

 

Both these leagues play at Sijan Field, which is where team #1 plays on Thursdays.

MS-166 plays its games on Thursdays with games starting at 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, and 9:15.

These leagues are 14 weeks long.

MS-166 - Sijan in Bay View - Thursday nights

or

MS-161(preferred) - Sijan - Wednesday nights

or

MS-310 - Friday nights - Dyer field (151 N 80th).

 

Game times are 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, and 9:15. I'd prefer Sijan either night, but Dyer would be acceptable. Please respond with your preferred game night so we can get moving on signing us up (new team registration starts Feb 1).

EDIT: Apparently the 100-level leagues are uber-competitive. 300 leagues are more casual fun (at least in theory).

We're hoping that the Thursday Night League played at Sijan #3 is going to have an opening for us. This way, there could very well be two Brewerfan teams playing at the same time and if there are players needed either way, it'll work out. (Perhaps not for some guys on both teams, but we'll figure that out)

 

Unfortunately, we do not know which League or night will be available to us as a new team and we will not know until Friday 01 February at the earliest.

 

Please, as Kenny requested, state the night you prefer.

Moved from Florida this past fall where I built my own team, took em to tournaments, etc. Certainly miss being able to play 2-4 days a week all year around. I'd be down for any day of the week.

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything, but Sijan is considered one of the holy grails of City ball. Guys and sometimes teams go play there to get picked up for the Power league on Tuesdays. I know we're in it for the fun, but I don't think Bay Street would get a win over there.
