    I would be stunned if Kirk plays ahead of any of those guys in CS. I thought I read somewhere when he accepted the assignment that Stearns said that there was no doubt that the prospects were the priority. edit - here it is

    Not any time soon. We're rebuilding, we have time to wait for these guys to snap out of it. I would be shocked if any moves are made before July.

    Only way I want Brinson up this year before September is if there's an injury or Braun gets traded. Let Broxton and Santana have the full year to see what they can do. The team has the luxury of time this season, let's use it.

    I'm excited about the team, but our pitching is just not good enough to compete this year. Hopefully Peralta can keep it going, Davies can get it going like last year and Guerra can come back strong, but it's still not a playoff rotation. At the end of the day, finishing above 500 this year would be a huge success.
