I’d be stunned if any of that actually happens, but it sure is nice to think about!

I am legit stunned and borderline disgusted that they're taking up resources and hospital space to let him have this surgery now.

I HATE Rob Manfred so, so much. Almost as much as he seems to hate baseball. What an awful idea.

I'm cleaning out my storage and have a bunch of Packers stuff circa the Favre Super Bowl years. If anyone wants them, I will be willing to let them go for cheap. Otherwise, they'll probably go in the trash! Autographed 8x10s Favre Antonio Freeman Desmond Howard Ray Nitchke All but the Freeman have certificates of authenticity for whatever those are worth. Magazines Packers yearbooks - 1989, 1996, 1997 Sports Illustrated - 1/20/97 (Freeman on cover), 1/27/97 (Super Bowl preview with Favre and Holmgren on cover), 2/3/97 (Super Bowl champ issue with Howard on cover), commemorative Super Bowl champion magazine Super Bowl XXXI program Time - 1/27/97 (Favre and Reggie on the cover)

I generally like, or can at least understand, what they’ve done so far. What I don’t get, is what their plan is for 3B, since we’re not signing Donaldson or trading for Arrenado. Are there some other options out there I’m not thinking of?

    Manfred is evil

I would love to get Price, Benintendi and cash for a middling prospect as a salary dump for the Red Sox. I don't care about helping them, I care about making the Brewers better and Price+ does that.

so does #23 go into the rafters next season then?

If this was anyone besides nightengale, I’d be really worried. Still a little concerning though.

This is absolutely glorious. This has to be one of the worst LCS performances of all time!

That’s actually a better lineup than I expected from the cubs
  13. MillerParkSouth
    The Phillies are absolutely useless.

I really hate that Thames hurt himself on that useless head first slide in the 9th last night. Hammy's can linger, got to be smart about that kind of stuff!

I was annoyed at that too, but I saw that the Cardinals have that gear as well, so that must be the default "clinched a spot but not the division yet" celebratory shirt.

I gave up on this team no less than 3 times (Woodruff, Hiura, and Yelich injuries) and I don’t know that I’ve ever been so happy to be totally wrong.
  17. MillerParkSouth
I really hope they celebrated responsibly so the A-team isn’t too hungover to win (especially against a tough pitcher like Castillo)!

Love Bill Hall and was glad this happened. It’s a cool little thing to do, why not?
  19. MillerParkSouth
Good chance it’s going to be Woodruff, Anderson, Davies, Hauser and then one of Burnes, Sutter, or Faria. I wouldn’t mind bringing Gio or Lyles back as depth depending on how the market plays out.

Not a fan of this trade at all. Seems like a lot to give up for a rental, especially since it means we're 100% banking on Arcia now.
  21. MillerParkSouth
Very frustrating timing on all accounts. If our myriad of injuries happen literally a couple of days earlier, he’s likely in our rotation and our playoff chances could be drastically altered.
  22. MillerParkSouth
Good thing we didn't pick up that cheap option we had for him this past offseason!

Bravo OP. We watch Beauty and the Beast quite a bit so this song is also constantly in my head so this is fantastic.

I think Houser has a real shot at being a useful starter, Freddy less so. I’d move Houser into the rotation, keep Freddy where he is and hope you can get a semi useful bullpen piece or two for cheap at the deadline.

A little disappointed about moving Houser back to the pen, felt like he was starting to really show something in the rotation. Hopefully he gets another crack at it in the spring.
