    Really bummed that Monte is on the IL since i'm going to be in Nashville this weekend and was looking forward to seeing him play. Hopefully Diaz and Brinson will be in the lineup for NO at least.

    Thought I saw somewhere on twitter that his fastball is moving differently than it did pre-injury, which is making it not compliment the rest of his repertoire as well. I would imagine that that could be a big stumbling block to get over.

    I understand we’re in win now mode and our bullpen is trash, but this seems very short sighted to me.

    You could also check out SpotHero.com and park elsewhere in the general vicinity if you don't mind a short walk. That's what I've done for concerts I've seen there in the past.

    I’ll be in Nashville seeing the Sounds take on the Marlins AAA affiliate and I am very excited to see Isan and Monte again. Saw them both in Wisconsin and the AFL and still think they can make big league contributions. But yes, this trade was highway robbery and I love Yelich.

    Hope he opts out and we can pick him up. We certainly could use the depth, especially with Freddy hurt and Burnes optioned.

    Feel like of all the young pitchers Burnes has the highest upside, can't give up on him yet. He's also faced 3 of the best offenses in the NL so far this year. Give him another few starts and see what he does. Not like we have a better option in AAA until Jimmy is ready anyways.

    We essentially extended Yelich when we traded for him, no reason to tack on more years/dollars at this point.

    Would be nice if the offense put up a crooked number and Freddy had a solid start so we can have a relaxing win!

    I think this is the right move given the downside. Would be in favor of signing Jennings now (and Kimbrel of course!)

    Robert’s Western World for some good honky tonk music. I’m not a country guy either but I had a great time there, it’s apparently pretty well regarded by the locals and the music was great. I thought the Parthenon was cool too.

    They should absolutely sign Kimbrel before trading any assets for a reliever. Not only is Kimbrel the best available option by a mile, he only costs cash and the loss of a mid round draft pick!

    Damnit. Disappointing but makes sense the more you think about it since it seems like Stearns runs a pretty tight ship as far as leaks go.

    They shouldn't be having any conversations about that until after next year at the very earliest. Realistically, I wouldn't look at it until after the 2021 season.
