    Turang just tweeted a pic of him putting pen to paper so it looks like it's official! Will be interesting to see what the $ are and if we can snag any more later round picks before the deadline.

    As the 21st pick in the draft, there is very little incentive for him to go to school since there isn't much upward movement available to him. It's annoying that it is taking so long for him to sign though, I agree. Hopefully he signs in the next couple of days so we have a little more time to throw some of our remaining money at some higher round draftees to sign them away.

    I really don't like how people on Twitter are making it seem like Turang is going to be a difficult sign. I have to imagine that there were lengthy discussions about the number before we actually drafted him. Just get it done!

    I just keep telling myself that this is Sogard’s last stand and that he’ll be gone for good once Arcia comes back. I figure if I say it enough maybe I’ll believe it.

    Don't like this one bit. I hate seeing Sogard back and i'm worried that any small improvement in offensive production will be more than offset by the decrease in defensive production.

    Heading up tonight from the Chicago area, what's the best way to get to the stadium now with all the 94 construction? Is my best bet to just get off on Plankinton and come back in on Clybourn or should I be going 894 and coming in from the east? Thanks!

    Rehab start on Saturday for Wisconsin. Would line him up to take Peralta's turn next week, which would be very underwhelming.

    He never should have been in a Brewers uniform this season under any circumstances, but i'm hoping you're right. Get him healthy and DFA.

    Young pitchers are going to have growing pains, remember how bad Jimmy used to be? Give him time. (the walks are very, very irritating though, no arguments there).

    I wonder if Woodruff just can't get comfortable because he has yet to get an extended look at the big league level.

    Sounds like he's plateaued in his recovery and its way too early to start thinking about return dates. Hopefully the check up tomorrow goes well.

    Nobody should lose any faith in Woodruff. He was a top 100 prospect until he wasn't eligible and he really hasn't even had an extended look in the bigs. I still have high hopes for him.
