    I really hope that this game doesn't get delayed at all. if it does, doesn't it guarantee that we won't get to see it all when they cut to the other games? hopefully it can just stay overcast or something and hold off on the rain until we leave town.

    my work is slow as can be (thank you credit crunch!) so i'll be taking a half day tomorrow and taking off early on thursday. i'm sure a lot of people will be useless down here all week because of the Cubs/Sox anyways, so i won't be in the minority in that sense.

    interesting. I wonder if i'll have one of those emails myself when i go to work in the morning since I ordered around 2 or 2:30. I would think they'd just refund the money to your credit card if they're not going to make any more of them.

    Dear Dale, I was planning on going to the next 2 games as a personal funeral for the 2008 season. I've got renewed hope (and really great seats) tonight so i'd really appreciate it if we can kick off the rest of the season with a W. Please don't be afraid to pinch hit for Kendall, Counsell, et all if the game is on the line. Sincerely, MPS.

    While it would have been nice to win last night, we still only need a split here. Take 2 of the next 3 and we're fine. Manny is due for a good start and our offense is due to break out. No better time than the present, let's do it!

    Just got home from the game. Needless to say, it was awesome to see Mat get his first hit. I had to practically beg my friends to stick around after we broke up the perfecto, but it was well worth it. As for the rest of the game...yikes.
