  1. "See the thing is I've got a lot going on right now and I sorta have a drinking problem and I just dont think having a baby right now is such a good idea..." The other parts that always get me is any time Charlie's learning disability is brought up or made obvious and when Charlie goes to his AA meeting and tries to chug his beer before he walks in the door.
  2. ike many of you mentioned there seems to be a lot of examples of problems on the internet but everyone I know has never had a problem with there consoles. I guess its just all relative. I would never buy one since out of the 8 people I know who have purchased them, 6 are on their second or later console. The only two who haven't had theirs fail are my brother (who ironically beats the hell out of it) and my cousin who got it less than two weeks ago. One of my friends ended up selling his on ebay for around half price since it wouldn't load a lot of his games and Microsoft wouldn't fix it any more. Oddly enough he ended up getting another one a week later. I don't get it. I love my ps3.
  3. I don't think it could get any better than Mac and Dennis going to the abortion rally to meet girls. When he hands the girl a list of doctors he is going to kill with 2 of them already crossed off, I pretty much peed myself.
  4. Ive been waiting for this forever. Everyone should really check out this show. Its the funniest sitcom on TV right now.
  5. Beat me Robert. I havent checked the site in a week. Come on, read through this thread thinking the whole time about Commando, and get to the last post... My friends and I tried to make it into a drinking game where you drink for every kill/bad line. The end was pretty brutial. I think over 100 people die. Also, Arnolds line when he kills Bennet is his best one liner of all time in my opinion.
  6. I liked that pitch better the first time I saw it, when it was called a strike.
  7. This is a pretty bad night for the Ump. Questionable calls all over the place.
  8. Everyone seems to be in agreement with Ned on this one...nice to see.
  9. Way to protect your players Ned. You don't need Jenks or Prince thrown out. Fire these guys up.
  10. Juan Cruz? He wasn't their fifth starter, but he looks short and thin to me too, and he throws hard. He's listed at 6'2" though. Thanks...thats who I was thinking of. I had no idea he was that big.
  11. Who was the scrubs' 5th starter the year they lost in the NLSC? His name escapes me, but he must have been about 5'10" 170 and could deal. They traded him a year later I believe.
  12. Its like your having a conversation with yourself endless.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. Not trying to pile on the hate fest here, but the announcer mentioned that T-Bow threw a nice Curveball. It was my understanding he was pretty much fastball and slider. Does he also throw a curve and I have never heard of it or is it new this year?
  14. You would think by now I would be used to saying Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, but for some reason its still completely ridiculous.
  15. Michael's reason for not getting it on in the bathroom made the episode for me: No room to cuddle.
  16. I think the show functions best when Michael is still a believable character. I don't know why they sometimes write him too socially out there. Its really not funny. This episode reminds me of the Dundees one that started season 2. A lot of people I talk to who don't watch the show claim this is the reason. They say they tuned in for that Season Premier and didn't think it was any good. This episode was more of the same, just not a premier thank god. In my opinion, the show works because its characters are takeoffs of people we have all worked with. Sure they make them a little more over the top to make it even funnier, but the key is that they are just a "little" over the top. I know some think there can't possibly be anyone like Dwight, but there is a guy I work with who is just like him down to the part about using music to pump himself up before a big meeting or whatever. Scary! When Michael is his normal self, it is believable. He is somewhat competent at his job, makes bad jokes, and likes to think that he is integral in the office whereas it would probably run better without him. Sounds like almost every boss I have ever had.
  17. The Shins - Wincing The Night Away I mentioned earlier in the thread that I was listening to the CD. I got tired of it kinda quick, but will go back once I grow tired of the two CDs I have been listening to lately (Wolfmother and The Format). It seems like with The Shins first two albums, I didn't like them much at first but after some time went back and now I can listen to them over and over again. I don't know if that will happen again, but there is just something about their style that catches on to me after a while. I have a feeling that Red Rabbits will be one of those songs...I also have to say that as of right now, I think Turn On Me (right after Red Rabbits) is my favorite track.
  18. I think that's probably just because they're new this year, and the writers don't really know beforehand who's going to stick around and who isn't. That could be true, it just seems like in the past when they have introduced characters they have not been guest stars. Of course, they haven't been characters central to the show...I am thinking more along the lines of Bob Vance, or Michael's original girlfriend.
  19. I heard that Dwight is going to take a job at a rival paper company in town. I would guess that Michael finds a way to bring him back, probably at Andy's expense. Remember, Ed Helms is listed as a guest star and not a regular cast member. Same thing with Jim's new girlfriend, but thats another story.
  20. Reviving the thread while I am listening to The Shins new album. Phantom Limb is an awesome song. I have a lot of driving to do this weekend so I should get to listen through it a couple times which is what it usually takes for me to decide if I like something or not.
  21. There is a guy in my office that is just like Dwight...down to the rock music to physic himself out...so his character is believable to me. Ed Helms was my favorite character on the show before the office moved. His first Ep was great when he was sizing Dwight up, but he has really fallen off since then. This show has shown before though that it is capable of having a character be amazingly awkward and unbelievable one week, only to come back strong the next.
  22. I got drunk for 2007 and broke up with my girlfriend...it was a coupel weeks coming...im glad...why am i so sad? Listending to a lot of Boyz II Men right now. Happy fing new year!
  23. Wow. The average NL OPS for 1B was .879 compared to only .819 for the AL. I am guessing thats thanks to Howard/Pujols.
  24. In terms of Zelda, at first the controls felt tacked on and there were times I wished I could just push a button instead of swinging the controller. After some time though, it really does become natural. The aiming system is amazing also. I can pick guys off with arrows while riding around on Epona full speed with no trouble. I also second what Brian was saying about holding the nunchuck attachment. It is difficult to describe, but I usually lean back on my couch and hold the nunchuck against my body facing to the right. It is really comfortable and completely impossible with a regular controller.
