  1. I love clicking through the top plays from last year. So much fun.
  2. If I had to guess it would almost have to be Prince or Braun or both.
  3. I sent my 360 in on the 9th, and got one back today already, the 18th. Somewhat impressive based on what I've heard from others. But I'm confused. The letter said they sent me a replacement 360, but the serial number on this one is the same as my old one as far as I know unless they change that on the Xbox support page once they picked a new one for me. However, if it is the same one I noticed the MFR date on the Xbox I got back today says July 20th, 2006. I got mine in May 2006. I suppose it doesn't matter as long as when I hook it up it works, but talking about confusing me.
  4. Same here. It's a major turnoff seeing how some people can be (trust me, most definitely not trying to point out people here who go for autographs) when trying to get them. If you're in the right place at the right time (i.e. along the railing by the dugout) and a player comes by offering to sign things for the people there, great. But it's the people 10 sections over that see this happening then sprint over there and claw they're way to the front trying to get an autograph. On a similar note, I was lucky enough to get some good seats 15 rows from the Brewers dugout a few times over the last couple of years for a game or two a year, and I was disgusted by the amount of parents sending their kids rushing up to the dugout to try and get a ball after every single inning. Some of these parents make it seem to their kids that it's their given right to get a ball from a player at some point during the game and that doesn't help anything and I'm sure in most cases it's those kids who grow up to be the ones fighting to get to the front of the line for an autograph.
  5. I don't collect them, but I do have some mostly from early-mid 90's Brewers and personally I think they just look cool to decorate a room, plus sometimes it's a good conversation topic.
  6. I was cleaning out a closet tonight, found my Gameboy and just got 208 lines while playing Tetris, a career high. Also, probably the most productive thing I did today.
  7. I got it for the first time a week or so ago. Had it for a year and a half and thought I got one that didn't have problems, guess I was wrong...quite frankly I wasn't super impressed by the performance of my original Xbox and the 360 was doing fine until this, maybe I should have just went with PS3.
  8. Should we all air our grievances with each other? Who wants to do the BF.net feats of strength?
  9. No kidding. I don't get it either.
  10. I'd rather have Blalock than Rolen. Of course it depends on what Texas wants in return, for example, that proposal in the 2nd post seems like a little much. I definitely wouldn't want Turnbow traded at this point, we're starting to get a bullpen together and I think he's a good guy to have around.
  11. Whatever, when I worked at Best Buy a few years ago, all they looped was the new Jessica Simpson Christmas CD.
  12. This is excellent news. If he really was injured this year, oh well, I guess he was what he was, but I'd much rather move him and not run the risk of him getting 'fatter and lazier' again.
  13. ESPN seems to think that I would care what Charles Barkley thinks about the Bonds situation. Please.
  14. Article from the Brewers website...apparently Doug has contacted Jason Kendall... Link
  15. If you guys actually follow through with a 2nd team, I'd probably be interested, depending on when the season starts. I'm already on a team in Waukesha and might be doing a 2nd team this year in Pewaukee, but if that Pewaukee teams falls through, I would be interested.
  16. Anyone that might have any interest? Still trying to find a home for it.
  17. I don't even know if a challenge system is needed. If a ball is really close to the foul pole and it had the distance, take a look at it. I'm guessing on average a replay would be needed 0.5 times a game, if that.
  18. I don't like it all that much. The only way I think it would be fine to use it is for balls that are clearly over the fence, but are close to the foul pole. Any other use doesn't make that much sense to me. You couldn't use it on balls that were judged to be home runs but then were found to hit off the top of the fence or something, there wouldn't be a good way to go about deciding where players should be on base. I vote yes, but only for fair/foul (HR's). Luckily my vote doesn't count.
  19. I used to think my biggest pet peeve was when people didn't use their blinkers. That's now been moved down to #2 on the list, right behind when people feel the need to listen to music with the bass at an unreasonable level.
  20. Ned Yost, hopefully we would get some insight on what it means when he says things like "We still have math on our side," when there's three games to play and we're back 2.5. Otherwise, I don't think Bill is that terrible, it could be worse, he doesn't do anything that makes me dislike him, sometimes I think his repetitiveness and other habits are actually kind of funny.
  21. Just wow. I would have liked the Tribe to go to the WS, but I can't complain about either the Red Sox or Rockies. I'd prefer if the Rockies won, to keep the whole new World Series champ every year thing going, but won't complain if the Sox win it. It should be interesting to see if the Red Sox can put a stop to Rocktober, it's kind of looking like they will if they keep this up.
  22. Oh man. If they don't tie it up now, that third base coach is going to have a rough go of it for awhile. That's Manny Ramirez in left field, odds are even if he gets that throw to home on time, it's not going to be on target.
  23. Anyone else looking forward to this game? I'll be putting off studying for my Finance test that's tomorrow to watch it. I think I'd be looking forward to it a bit more if the Tribe had shown any signs of life the last two games. For whatever reason, this doesn't even feel like it's going to be a good game. Of course, if the Tribe can bounce back from the two consecutive beatdowns they've endured, it will atleast make for an interesting game. Too bad neither C.C. nor Fausto could pull out one good start between them to finish this up sooner, but oh well.
  24. MLB: Cleveland Indians NBA: Phoenix Suns NFL: San Francisco 49ers NHL: New Jersey Devils
  25. All these posts and no one could call both sweeps in the NL...atleast I guess that would make the playoffs so far unpredictable?
