  1. Yup, that's what it is. Thanks!
  2. I got mine today, after waiting fruitlessly for the company seats (front row). I'll settle for a single in Club Level 319. Have retro Braun jersey on.
  3. What in the world is Russell Branyan's walk up music?
  4. I can meet you anytime, anywhere.
  5. Brewers Wed starter is now listed as TBA, coincidence?
  6. Funny what a difference a few months makes. I was advocating McClung for a late inning spot during the winter and was nearly laughed off the boards.
  7. If it wasn't for Branyan, I wouldn't be surprised to see Escobar in the 2nd half with Hardy at 3B. He's lost a step running and in the field, but has the OBP and SLG to be an average to slightly above average 3B. Who wouldn't be happy with a .290/.350/.480 line at 3B for us right now, honestly? He certainly has the arm for the position.
  8. I feel like we could give up LaPorta and Green and come ahead in the deal. We'd get two high draft picks for CC, and two more for Sheets, essentially replacing LaPorta and Green two fold while picking up a guy who should bring us to a place we haven't been in 21 years. Enough of "waiting for the future". The future is now, I think Mark A. knows it and we all need to come to grips with that as well.
  9. Remember the Jerry Reuss pickup in 1992? That's a good example of a trade NOT working out. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  10. Get rid of this guy. It's the same old routine for Mota. His BABIP proved he was getting lucky early on, the recent performance is more "norm" for Mota than the first two months of the season. He's gotta go. Why are the Brewers so hesitant to bring up Pena? Has he offended someone in the front office? Heck, bring Dillard back. Bring DiFelice back. Or give Erasmo Ramirez a chance at the bigs. Any of these guys would be a better option than Mota right now. There are several options. We can't sit on our hands and assume he's "tipping pitches". Maybe he just isn't a good pitcher. Let's stop ignoring history and look at the facts, Doug/Ned/Mike.
  11. JSOnline blog: "Hardy is out of his mind. I mean, out of his mind."
  12. When you see this message more than once in a day: "We're sorry, you are not allowed to make another post so soon after your last one."
  13. Maybe we could get Marc Newfield or Matt Mieske for him. We should TOTALLY jump on that.
  14. I made a joke about this yesterday in another forum. "Hey, we'll have an opening after this year for an uber-talented, oft-injured, highly paid SP." http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. For me, I don't think you're going to get him with the kind of Class B-/C prospects named in this thread. I know the Yankees, for one, have been sniffing after him. The Rockies hold all the cards here. We talk about getting picks for him, don't you think the Rockies realize that, too and thus would want full value for 2 #1's or 2 #2's depending on his FA classification? We aren't getting Fuentes for Gillespie, or Pena, or Hand, or any of these other mid range specs. You'll have to give up someone in our Top 10 like Inman was last season. And I really don't care for that right now for a reliever.
  16. Yeah, but if we take Alexander what do we do with him? He plays the same position as Jefferson. That doesn't make any sense to me at all. I say deal Redd and the #8 to Miami for the #2 and contracts, or something along those lines. Get Beasley for PF.
  17. Sparky is advocating trading prospects for Fuentes rather than Sabathia right now, to have Fuentes be the 8th inning guy. Thoughts?
  18. I have been advocating this for months now. Gwynn plus something minor for Maddux makes so much sense to me.
  19. Île Jésuseverything, money is handy.http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3100/2564980228_f4da9b7650_m.jpg
  20. Jeffries is close to the top 100, talent wise. I wouldn't be surprised to see him looked upon as a top 50 prospect if he keeps producing, and keeps the pipe in storage.
  21. I hated the Linebrink trade, I'll reserve judgement until Friday on it, however. I will say this, I don't think Fuentes would garner as much in return as Linebrink did. If we could get him for some mid range prospects, I'd do it. I don't want to see anyone like Gamel, LaPorta, Escobar, Jeffries, Braddock, etc dealt for him, though.
