  1. . OSU got the point that they needed but the Badgers got the 3 on 3 winner in OT. Can't complain too much considering they were down 3 nothing and scored the last 4 goals. Buckeyes are probably privately thinking they rather have faced Michigan State next week For sure. Honestly. I'd hate to have to play Wisconsin. They have so much talent. They could easily make a run. One thing going for OSU is they are gonna be playing with house money. They'll be in the tourny regardless.
  2. If the Badgers dont come back go win tonight they will be heading back to OSU next weekend. I dont like that. Napier is a stud between the pipes. If they come back then they head to Minnesota.
  3. My friends and I chatted about this. Stinks as it could have led to a Friday. Fortunately I have off Friday, but they are going to have to take 2 days off if they want to let loose a bit.
  4. What's different? Which one is the new swing and which is the old? I watched this like 15times. I assume the Left is the newer swing? Higher hands being the tell? What I see in the left, is an earlier leg kick that is bigger, a wind up further back. Once the swing begins going forward it is the same as the right. The left takes longer and in the end is a few frames behind the right. Head has same movement. 2 hand finish as opposed to 1 hand as well.
  5. All of that is true. The only thing I would mention is SARS didn't spread like this(if I am remembering correctly). One positive is that it doesn't appear to taking out young, healthy people. After all, a virus needs a host, so they don't want people to die.
  6. I am curious what Taylor is going to run in the 40. I feel like he doesn't get the pub that he should. I may be biased though.
  7. I'm curious why you think it's an overreaction? Experts believe it could infect half the world population. With a 2% mortality rate. That's a lot of people. I had my own thoughts on this (flu kills much more and the media is really pushing this) but Dr. Drew's commentary here is about right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWY0oZV51VY&fbclid=IwAR27c_DI9V2A2PzwXLS3qe2Lkw1yUrSewyUZ9sH6kbY-goyAS6tC-QP9MN8 True, the flu does kill a lot more, but more people catch the flu. Mortality rates for the flu are .16%. Whereas this current virus is 2%. I personally think it is definitely something that needs to be kept in our thoughts. Edit: Also, that was from February 3rd. I would be curious on his thoughts now that its about a month later and it is spreading more rapidly.
  8. It's funny that you mention metal slides. Those have become extinct because they were known to cause more injuries/burns...

  10. I had heard that as well. Fun stuff.
  11. I havent, but hopefully it means Burnes and Hader keep the ball in the park and become studs again! Although, it will hurt Sogard if thats the case.
  12. Rumor has it that Illinois is going to announce a start of a D1 program.
  13. Basically, the home team has to have an emergency goalie in case the 2 goalies on the roster get injured. They can try to recall a minor league goalie if they find out about the injury/illness early enough. It is a pretty cool story. Ayers isnt the first emergency goalie to get used either. The Blackhawks had to do it about 2 years ago.
  14. Kobe King to Nebraska - per sources on the interwebs. Seems like...a step down.
  15. I just assume it's the same people calling for a new football coach cuz they cant beat OSU.
  16. I think he catches Gretzky if his health holds. He was the fastest from 600 to 700. I assume it will continue.
  17. It also seems like Narvaez really wants to improve his receiving too(obviously). He said one of his goals this year is to be ranked in the top half of the league.
  18. Hard to take anything these guys say seriously. Grandal 2.5 war 119 ops+ Narvaez 2.1 war 120 ops+ The rotation is a concern, sure. It has been the last 2 years and the Brewers have figured out a way to compete.
  19. Bucky was buzzing tonight. Best game theyve played since the UMD games earlier in the year.
  20. Going off of this one, when casual fans try to lecture hardcore fans about things they know little about. Example: Casual baseball fan telling me payroll doesn't help teams win. I will give you one guess what team he likes. Theeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Marlins.
  21. This is what I took from it. People want the Brewers to spend more money, but just because you spend more does not mean that they are going to win more. It is entirely possible that the Brewers data thinks Garcia will outperform Castellanos and the other parts they've picked up will perform at a similar production as those they let slip past. I personally think they will be fine this year if they stay healthy.
  22. Saw that video circulating. Really awesome. I hope the dude hits 500 with 70 bombs.

  24. I once sat next to a family of Cubs fans in row 2 section 128 for a Brewers Nats game. I asked then why they were in Milwaukee and the wife said it's easier for them to get to Milwaukee for a game than it is to get to Wrigley. I asked where they lived and she said about 10 miles from Wrigley. She also mentioned the atmosphere was better and was better for their kids.
  25. The first goal of the game was a real softy that was on Lebedeff. Any D1 goalie should never give up at that one. For sure. My buddy was out a few weeks ago and ran into Lebedeff and his parents. Ssid the parents were talking about how hes going pro. Lebedeff wasnt saying anything. After the game my buddy goes, 'that guy ain't going pro'. I thought the Badgers played relatively well defensively and were done in by some poor goaltending. I noticed Caufield out there with about 5 different lines. If it's me I put him with Turcotte and Ahcan or Baker from day 1.
