    Obviously, AAA pitching is quite a it different than MLB pitching. I applaud the effort, but I just don't think you can compare the two and get anything out of it. Maybe compare them using AAA for both players, then see what we have.

    If no one is attempting to sign this guy, offer him a cheap prove it contract loaded with incentives. He'd pitch his ass off, stay on the up and up as a human being, in hopes of a big payday next season. I just really wonder if the league as a whole is blackballing him, or if there are really no teams interested...

    God, that would be a really gross trade...Take Black out of any deal involving Musgrove.

    I get that, but I think we don't start the season with Adames. He gets traded, but I'm not convinced we move Williams unless the get is just too huge to pass up. I mean, to trade arguably the best closer in baseball with two years of control left, we have to expect a massive payoff, or it won't get done.

    Yeah, and hopefully they learned a lesson from that recent track record. I am assuming that Adames is a MAJOR influence on that clubhouse. Everyone loves the guy, you trade him in the midst of a playoff chase, and the effects would probably be way worse than when they traded Hader.

    If he plays well, and we are in a playoff hunt, no possible chance Hoskins is traded at the deadline.

    You do know that Bauer wasn't found guilty on any charge right? We've had actual criminals on our team in the recent past, and yet you stuck with this team then, right?

    I disagree. If we can get a pretty penny, then we better take it. We shall see.

    To be honest, I don't mind keeping Adames, as long as he isn't going to be counted on to bat in the top 5 or 6 in the batting order. Adames as your 6 or 7 hitter is fine, as your 2, 3 or 4 hitter, nope. Tired of that act. I doubt he is going to get us much in trade. I'm pretty sure we put more value on him because he's a Brewer than all the other teams do. They can see him, his stats, his tape. Just not going to get us much on the trade market imo.

    All I am seeing with riding the bullpen as you describe, is a lot of gassed relievers by mid-season. I don't think that can be sustained a full season. We have to have another guy who can go 6 innings on the regular in that rotation. Hell, it doesn't seem like Peralta even gets through 6 innings all that often, but I haven't looked it up.

    Also, forgot to mention a while back, watched the entire series of SOAP. (4 seasons) There is some absolute brilliant comedy that takes place on that show! I mean funny funny stuff. My only disappointment was that they never got to do season 5, which would have been the planned ending. Instead, season 4 left off with 3 or 4 cliffhangers, that we will never know what happened. That was a bummer.

    My wife and I finally started watching Ozark. About half way into season 2 and it just keeps getting better! Great show!

    I really REALLY enjoyed Daisey Jones and the Six! Started watching the first season on Wednesday night and finished it Friday night.

    That depends on how the new manger feels about it. If he has an open mind, yup, agreed. If he has a CC mind, Turang will get first dibs, and even if he fails, will still get the call...
