    This is a bit surprising to me. BAL is as tight as they come, and full of young talent offensively. I would have expected them to spend on starting pitching if they were going to spend money.

    Just glad (for now) he didn't end up with the Cubs or Cardinals... This contract won't end well, we all know that, but I am happy he isn't spending the next 2-3 years tormenting us in the Central.

    Lowering the mound would be fine if it makes sense, but lengthening the distance to home plate is a recipe for disaster with injuries It's bad enough now already.

    If you can get him at a REALLY good price, sure. I just don't view Turang as the kind of player you need to extend.

    Why not just start one, let him go 3-4 innings, then have the other one get you to the 9th, where a closer comes in. I see piggy backing the same two guys every 5th day as a pretty interesting thing to try, especially with Ashby and Hall.

    Not much this year because he was hurt for a good share of 2024... I HIGHLY doubt the Rangers would be looking to move him............cheaply.

    I have not fact checked this, but found it interesting. I thought we'd be in the bottom 5, but ended up in the bottom 8.

    Again, you are proposing Polanco to 3B, a new guy at 2B, so that leaves Turang and Ortiz at SS. You have one too many guys for 3 positions. No to Polanco, big hard NO!

    So Polanco at 3B, Turang to SS, and a new guy at 2B? Aren't you forgetting about Ortiz?

    I refuse to believe (even though I am probably wrong) that the Brewers are entertaining the idea of Frelick as our starting, normal, everyday 3B. It seems like a really bad idea.
