  1. Same. Split loyalty is not a thing, period. I have never understood how anyone can say they have more than one favorite team in any given sport. I am a Brewers fan, and dislike all other teams, no matter what. Some I dislike more than others, but to me, they are all the enemy. I won't go into who my NFL team is, and has always been (give you a hint, they came into existence in 1976 lol, and I've been a HUGE fan since)
  2. Happens all the time, not by just the poster you are talking to, but others as well. Even mods censor what we are allowed to talk about, even though this is a site to discuss baseball. It's a product of today's society. If someone doesn't like something, nobody else gets to like it either. If someone wants to talk about something and someone doesn't like it, you aren't allowed to talk about it. If you don't agree with me, you aren't allowed to have an opinion kind of mentality. Just a horrible way to go about life. I digress...
  3. As it should be! If I ever left the state of WI, there is a 0% chance I'd switch to a new team. Just won't happen, can't happen, Brewers are in my blood. I'm loyal to a fault.
  4. Lots of season left. It will come down to who has the guts to sign him... You may be right though, but I think someone is going to cave.
  5. We need a starter, and Bauer is available. Why must all discussion about him be censored and removed? People just need to get a handle on what they post and stop acting like little kids throwing a tantrum. We get it, a lot of you don't like him as a human being, in fact, I doubt anyone here does. It's getting to the point with injuries around the league, that someone is going to take a chance on this guy. He brings a ton of baggage, and each team has to weigh that out, but it's going to happen.
  6. It often feels like Murphy just wants to make moves, whether they make sense or not. He manages to manage and that is just plain stupid. You are correct, with this weakass bench, let the starters play. Perkins and Miller aren't going to out hit any of the starters, stop making moves just to make moves.
  7. I wish I could throw a tantrum and disagree with you, but I came here to post the same exact thing. He just isn't.
  8. Just got home from T-Rats game. What a dud. Rudy got shelled, but the guys who followed stopped the bleeding, offense just couldn't get anything going. Luke Adams left during an at bat with an awkward swing of some sort. He had to leave the game with an 0-1 count. Fernandez came in and walked. Pretty impressive starting a strike down. Hope Luke is ok.
  9. In that scenario, who plays 3B? Will Wilken be ready by the all star break? Had he not had that awful injury, maybe he would have been. At least he is back on the field.
  10. In all likelihood, we have him for 2 more seasons after this one. Like I have said before in this thread, if he is a free agent in 2028, he won't be a Brewer in 2027 as I think he will be traded. So we have him in 2025 and 2026. If we aren't going to extend him, and if he continues what he is doing until the end of the 2026 season, we should get a king's ransom for him on the trade market. So for the next 2.5 years, enjoy him!
  11. Here's a guy I didn't want to trade, we could sure use him now... Reese Olson threw eight shutout innings in a no-decision against the Marlins, allowing three hits and striking out six. Olson didn’t walk a batter or allow an extra-base hit all night. His slider was sharp on the night, helping him to a 29 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW overall. The 24-year-old now has a 2.09 ERA on the season with 41 strikeouts and just 15 walks in 47 1/3 innings. He somehow has no wins to show for it, but that should change soon.
  12. ALL the commercials are annoying. They play them all 8-9 times a game, seems like even more. It's pretty bad.
  13. Uh oh! More cheating shenanigans from the Astros organization... Ronel Blanco was ejected from Tuesday’s start against the Athletics following a foreign substance check. Blanco is facing an automatic 10-game suspension after umpires confiscated his glove following a foreign substance check to open the fourth inning. The 30-year-old righty, who has thrown the only no-hitter in the majors this season, had tossed three scoreless innings against the Athletics to open the contest. Source: Chandler Rome
  14. It doesn't really matter what anyone thinks, it's pretty obvious that if we weren't desperate for bodies in the OF, he would be best served right now, in AAA. It's not like that is where I want him to be, I was really hoping he'd belong with the Brewers, but it just doesn't look like that if you ask me. Now I realize that our resident Chourio experts will chime in to tell me just how wrong I am, but you just can't tell me that the best thing for him right now is playing with the Brewers. Even if he could go down for a month, earn his way back, then come back up, I'd be happy with that decision.
  15. Except Dunn can play 3B, and it seems like the Brewers have given up on Black playing 3B.
  16. Enter stat guys proving you wrong...lol Sure seems like an accurate statement though.
  17. Except if we are in the pennant race, no way we trade him... The off season was the time to do it, but we didn't. If we are within a couple of games of the playoffs at the deadline, we aren't trading him.
