  1. There are actually a couple I came up with that are not taken that really surprised me.
  2. Ford Escape Official color is Cinnamon glaze, but I'd say Brownish...
  3. I think I'm going to take the plunge and get them. It appears it's an extra $40 a year, and I figure I can splurge...lol I have a bunch of ideas already, but was wondering if anyone cared to add to them? Ideas don't necessarily have to be Brewers related specifically, but I do want the idea to be baseball related. I'll list mine at a later time as not to spoil anyone else's suggestions. I have a list of 13, some are decent, but I don't think I have "the one" just yet... (I do however have 3 that I am leaning in the direction of) Thanks in advance...
  4. Well some people think he is a punk/turd. Therefore, according to some on this site, they are not as good. If this is in reference to the comments in the Machado thread, no one has ever said Machado wasn't good, just that he is a turdy human being...
  5. I can't believe anyone puts any stock in any of these prediction systems... What they pump out is no more accurate than what we as fans put out there... Same with all these new stats that mean jack squat. The games gotta be played, in the end, it sorts itself out.
  6. Disappointing they had to mention Hader's social media issue...
  7. I'm sure plenty of non-turds have done the same, which would you rather have on YOUR team? That isn't the point. The point is just because someone is a turd doesn't mean they won't play well enough to earn their contract. My point is, if I am going to spend that kind of money, I want to spend it on a non-turd. If I plan to spend that kind of cash, and I have a choice, I'd take the non-turd everytime. EDIT: Actually, if I'm spending that kind of money, I wouldn't waste it on the turd at all, I'd just save the money and let someone else waste their cash on the turd...
  8. Human nature > stats. Machado is a turd. I'm sure plenty of turds have signed long term deals and done just fine. I'm sure plenty of non-turds have done the same, which would you rather have on YOUR team?
  9. Glad it wasn't us. I think the guy is severely over-rated.
  10. I'd feel a lot more "ALL IN" if we had an actual frontline proven starter... Still not sold on our rotation for the long haul in a complete season. How many innings can we expect Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta to go? 180 each? Doubtful. Those three, Anderson and Davies, and hopefully Nelson, but I can't count on him until I see that he is actually ready to contribute. I still think Stearns is going to bring in a starter.
  11. I only hope the Padres continue to lose, year in and year out, then we will see the real Manny.
  12. I have no good thoughts for Manny on this, I was hoping the poor guy would get stuck only making 25 million per season...
  13. Are you talking about Lawrie, Brett Lawrie?
  14. Really? That was considered good? It was absolutely unbearable. The crowd even looked bored. Ok, I'll take my ball and go home, but that was really bad, I mean just horrible bad...
  15. RRR and Nedley were nightmares. We can go round and round on this all day long, but I celebrated the day they were let go...
  16. If that is what today's music is all about, I am glad I am completely out of touch. If that guy is considered talented, I'm sad for our future. That was actually disgusting.
  17. If that DH goes into effect in 2020, I would surely think that Braun would be our primary DH.
  18. Any start for him in LF negates anything he can offer with the bat. He is a hack in the OF. We have any number of guys that would be a better option than Thames in the OF if Braun goes down with a long injury.
  19. I just can't see Thames as a part of the opening day roster. At this point, we may have to dump him for nothing, maybe a minor league flyer from a team needing a DH or 1B. There is just no room at the inn for him any longer. I never want to see him in the OF again...………………….EVER! Keeping his roster space for a start at 1B every 2 weeks seems like a waste, and I have zero faith in him as a pinch hitter. I sincerely hope Stearns can trade him for something.
  20. Yost would like you to kiss his ring. bah....they won that world series in spite of Ned Yost, not because of him. What a joke of a manager he was with Milwaukee. I was sooooooooo happy when they finally cut him loose.
  21. No contending team would take Thames but a rebuilding team might and hope he has a hot half so they can flip him. Of course the Brewers would have to eat at least half of his remaining salary. Thames has one year and a player option. This is one reason I think the Crew should roll with an Aguilar-Arcia-Shaw-Thames infield for at least the first month. Not only do they get that extra year of free agency with Hirua, but Thmes then could have a hot enough streak that someone will maybe send the Crew an Adam Lind-esque return around May 15 or so... So once again, you are suggesting that Jesus plays 3B for at least the first month of the season? You must own a glue factory the way you beat dead horses around here...
  22. No loss...
  23. Looking forward to seeing if we can stress our bullpen for a full season... Last year worked out well in the end, but can we sustain that for a full season, and back to back seasons? I'm skeptical.
