Because of the back of the end zone being out of bounds and not having to cover more than 25 total yards of depth, 4th and 15 to get into the end zone is a very low percentage play.
Will two weeks of prep as starter be enough to get Locke ready?
Michigan showed last week that a good QB isn't necessary if you can run the ball. Bring back the barge?
(And Michigan isn't looking that good against Minnesota today.)
It's not, but Washington is not good. They lost almost their entire starting lineup from last year - top 2 QBs, top 2 RBs, top 2 TEs, top 3 WRs, starting LT and RT, and starting C followed their head coach to Alabama.
Michigan - running the old Wisconsin offense - hung 290 rushing yards on USC with only 32 passing yards for the 27-24 win.
Hopefully Phil Longo was paying attention.
Colorado needs about a 45-yard Hail Mary to tie and send the game into overtime.
Baylor rushes five(!) and plays man-to-man(!!!) on the back end. Sanders rolls out on a designed play, leaving all five Baylor rushers chasing after him and heaves one up. The DB, because of playing man-to-man, is trailing the receiver and can't locate the ball and the receiver cuts from behind him to make the catch in the end zone.
Complete bone-headed call by the DC. And Baylor called timeout before the play, too, so they had time to set up the prevent zone defense in the end zone to have 3-deep safeties playing zone in the end zone with two more on the hashes just outside of the end zone to keep the play in front of them.
I would not expect rookies with no major league experience to do well in the playoffs. Putting them on the roster now means DFA'ing someone who will likely perform better in the playoffs.
If you live in/near a big city, look into One Medical. It's owned by Amazon (disclaimer: I do not directly own Amazon stock, but I do indirectly own Amazon stock in mutual funds/ETFs).
One Medical promises to keep appointments on-time. The previous two times I saw a primary care doctor I don't think I was brought back into the room until at least 45 minutes after the appointment time (over an hour for the last one). So I decided to give them a try. Went to one in downtown Chicago that was fairly easy to get to via the L. Doctor had good reviews but not a lot of reviews.
My appointment was at 11am. I walked in at 10:57am and checked in. At 11am the doctor called me back into the room. We met for 15-20 minutes for a basic physical. He then walked me down to the lab for some basic blood work (that the tech was very skilled at).
I walked out the door at 11:28am.
They are only primary care, but they are affiliated with a local hospital system and will refer you if needed. They have an app that makes communication with your doctor (and the billing staff) super easy and you can do virtual appointments via the app (which I did - super easy) and request medication refills. They did submit a bill with incorrect codes, but it was easy to get them to correct it and resubmit. There is a membership fee: $200/year, or $100/year if you have Amazon Prime.
To have an appointment start on-time and be in and out in less than 30 minutes - worth it.
I don't know if this is just in Colorado, but I saw a commercial on the Brewers post-game for a Hyundai Ionic 5 24-month lease for $141/mo with $141 down. Included a $13K EV lease bonus and a CO $5,300 tax credit. I'm sure it's the base model with RWD, but a nicer model with AWD shouldn't be more than $300/mo assuming the same incentives.
Even so, what type of new vehicle are you going to get for $141/mo and $141 down?
They weren't supposed to make the playoffs.
They weren't supposed to win the Division.
They weren't supposed to be the first team to clinch their Division.
They aren't supposed to win the World Series.
Need one this season. Can't go out and get one right now.
It was said half tongue-in-cheek, but Perkins, Frelick, and Chourio would have OF covered with excellent outfielders.
It's an option with a $2M buyout, not a guaranteed contract year, so the Brewers have until 5 days after the end of the World Series to sign him to an extension and tear up the option year.
Much fewer PA's, but Mitchell has a higher OPS than Chourio on the season.
NOT saying he's better, just saying that I think Mitchell has been doing better than some give him credit for.
Can Mitchell play 1B?
