  1. It wouldn't involve thousands of acres and horses, would it? 😁 I would like to get to Montana some time. Big open country is the way to go.
  2. Searching for the ignore button... Just kidding. I didn't fill out a bracket this year. Mostly because I'm so busy and also because Wisconsin isn't in it.
  3. Sitting at the Bucks game at the end of the row. I got up AT LEAST 20 times during the game for people to make their way to pee, drink, or simply be merry. Nobody in front of me had to do that. Oh, and there were kids that were kicking our chairs behind us. It also bothers me when this people get up at a Brewers game. At least, wait for a dead ball / timeout, or between innings. Up, down, up, down, up, down, wash, rinse, repeat. What are those clouds doing up there????!!!!!
  4. I wouldn't be disappointed if they got a 1st, a 3rd, and a bunch of cap relief. Then they can use that cap space to get some quality free agents.
  5. Eisen said it pretty well. He said that the Packers fans are ready to move on. Yes... the current events are due to scars from the Favre debacle. I'm not mad at the Packers or at Rodgers. Well, maybe I'm disappointed with the Packers because it sounds like there has been a change in culture. Then again, that is through Rodgers' eyes. I appreciated the question that AJ Hawk asked. Paraphrasing, it was, "when you came [out of the darkness], were you excited about playing again for the Packers?" Rodgers seemed taken aback at the question. Rodgers admitted he wasn't. Hawk earned a few journalism points from me because he asked a tough question. I'm glad that Rodgers answered it honestly, too.
  6. For some reason, the music from the pinball game Black Knight 2000 has always stuck in my head. Yes, for 30+ years 😢. I found a cover of it on Spotify. Crazy.
  7. It is funny how many Minnesota fans said that they hated Favre and didn't ever want him to play for the Vikings... until he did. Fast forward to today -- same narrative. My wife has a lot of family in Minnesota and I hear the same thing about Rodgers that I heard with Favre. Although it seems the same, I think the Packers are handling it different learning on how Favre leaving was a debacle. I also believe Rodgers is doing the same type of thing. I truly believe that the Packers and Rodgers are trying to make it as amicable as possible.
  8. If somebody were to hack into your Wi-Fi network, it is entirely possible they could get the same type of code that would automatically rejoin like your lights, etc. with Google Home. Although it is a PITA, it is best practice for the safety of your home.
  9. We were there a few years ago during the summer during Covid. My son's academy team had a tournament there. It would be nice to go there now that things are opened up. It didn't seem too bad.
  10. "Gotta sell those papers!" I think that is what frustrates Rodgers more than anything. He plays the media game and then we get frustrated with Rodgers because he is putting out misinformation. Is there narcissism in his blood? Sure, but I think many pile it on. Rodgers sells papers and also sells tickets. One other thing that frustrates me with today's journalism is how items aren't proofread. We see things on crawlers that are not even close to the correct spelling. Sigh... James Hoyt would not be happy.
  11. Sigh -- my 25+ year old Altec Lansing ADA-305 computer speakers bowed out this week. Sigh... So, I replaced them with... Klipsch Promedia 2.1 THX!!!!! Hopefully, they last 25 years, too. Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. The problem for small tech companies is that "good talent" or talent with experience often demands six figures. The people who don't have the breadth of knowledge but have 5 or so years of experience are still looking for 80K or so.
  13. The first time I saw something similar is when you could use Photoshop to "miniaturize" pictures. The goal was to make it look like a model or something like that. When I saw it on TV for the first time, I thought it was an attempt to bring 3d-ish watching to sports. For me, it wasn't that big of a deal. Within 10-20 years, we will be watching holograms instead of flat screen TVs anyway. I don't play Madden that much anymore. Perhaps it is to be similar to that or to the FIFA video game series?
  14. Did anybody respond with, "The Bible?" 😉
  15. Waited for Wakanda Forever to come out on Disney+. Disappointed, but not surprised. There were times where I thought I was watching a DC movie. I'm glad I saw it, though, so I can stay up on all things Marvel.
  16. I'm sure it helps, but I think we are seeing what OSU, Oregon, Alabama, etc. have been doing for years. Wisconsin is finally catching up.
  17. When I saw BW3's Mango Habanero sauce at Meijer, I snatched a few bottles. Awesome stuff!
  18. Started watching Wednesday on Netflix. I like it so far. Is Catherine Zeta-Jones in everything now (see National Treasure: Edge of History which I like, too).
  19. Just saw Knives Out this weekend. Very good!!!! Yes... Glass Onion is next!
  20. This reminds me of the old freeway plan for the Milwaukee area... http://midwestroads.com/wisconsin/past/reports/m03_1965proposed1990system.jpg
  21. ... and an interior defensive lineman. There were too many times where they did not control the line of scrimmage on the defensive side.
  22. When I order from Jimmy John's through the app, I get a notice that they got the order. I then make my way over to pick it up. I get a message the next day (if I'm lucky) saying the order is ready for pickup. ?‍♀️
  23. I have a picture from the store of the cover of People where it says Betty White turns 100. She died before her 100th birthday.
  24. Bob McGrath (Bob from Sesame Street) died at age 90 after a stroke. He was one of the original cast members.
  25. The Brewers are going to have to do something about Toro's lifetime K% of 17.6%. Gotta bump that up.
