  1. Maybe Hydrogen is the answer at some point? If I recall correctly, the only emissions are water.
  2. Some follow up questions I was hoping you could answer: Did you have any additional hardware installed at home to charge your vehicle? If so, how much did it cost to install and what are the specs (I saw that "Level 3" is typically used only for commercial entities)? What is your average drive (20 miles a day, etc.)? What is the longest trip you took with your car? How long did you have to wait to "recharge" during the trip? We have a cabin up north -- way up north. If it costs a large sum of money to put in a charging station at home and up north, that doesn't make sense for me. Likewise, if I travel a few hours to my parents' house in a small town, will I have to find a charging station somewhere so I can charge it while I visit them? If I "run out of a charge" on the road, do I need to get towed to the nearest charging station, or does AAA have a big truck that can give me enough juice to get to the nearest charging station? I see EV in my future at some point, but I'm not ready to pull the trigger, yet.
  3. Haven't seen too much mentioned of Griffin Doersching. He is done with college ball, but might be too old at 23 / 24?
  4. I only have Spectrum as well. The stopped laying fiber one block from our street a few years ago. They bumped us up to 300Mbps download with no price change. Upload is only 10Mbps still. Work from home with four adult, college (or recently graduated) kids at home. We have not had any latency. Fiber has piqued my interest, but am literally unable to give it a go.
  5. We moved some of our cash into I-Bonds recently. I think it is a good option, too.
  6. If you hit the little "eye" icon in the editor... I want to get out and see it ASAP!!!!!
  7. That might be the first time I have ever seen a Physical Demands section for a Developer position.
  8. I finally saw The Batman. Certainly different from other Batman movies. Some thoughts: Bruce Wayne looked like a Japanese Anime version A lot of the same chord progressions and music as John Williams in Star Wars movies When I heard Jim Gordon, I could not stop from seeing "The Watcher"
  9. I would disagree. On my desktop, it isn't so bad. I know it is only 15 seconds, but it is a nuisance for me on other sites.
  10. C'mon guys. You must not visit too many sites. The number of ads are tame compared to some sites. Being an older guy, I use a wheel mouse to scroll past the crazy amount of ads. The last thing you would want is to have a paywall (a la the Athletic). Logitech Wireless Mouse Brock -- keep up the good work.
  11. Could I put in a request to not have the floating DIV that has video that follows me everywhere? So many of the sites I visit will start with the video and if I have the sound on, the people in my online meeting hear sports talk right away... ?‍♀️
  12. Awesome!!!!!!
  13. I would have to agree with you, although Toby Maguire wasn't all that bad. I think it has a lot to do with the technology of the day and Spider-Man 3 was atrocious. *** Request for a "spoilers" tag ?
  14. I have not seen it, yet. A friend of mine said that it was not good at all. He thought there was a lot of "woke" ideas in the storyline. Did you get that impression?
  15. Way back around 2000, I bought some Altec Lansing ADA-305 computer speakers. They still sound awesome today! https://www.amazon.com/Altec-Lansing-ADA305-PowerCube-3-Speaker/dp/B00000JBJW?dchild=1
  16. Give me my locals, ESPN channels, Big Ten, FS1 / FS2, NFL Network, MLB Network, and Bally's and I would be a happy camper. I wouldn't mind beIN, too.
  17. 10:57PM... ESPN on YouTubeTV "You are no longer subscribed to this channel..." It is for realz!!!!! Better head for the hills. The zombie apocalypse is upon us. Oh... can't watch replays either. Buncha jerks...
  18. It also seems wrong to have Venom without the reveal in Secret Wars
  19. Late to the party, but Ted Lasso is awesome! Oh.. "What If..." is pretty good, too. ZOMBIES!!!!!!
  20. If that is true, then the people with Roku TVs will not be happy... At least you can still plug something into an HDMI port.
  21. What? No data visualization using R? What a bunch of hacks... Very, very tempting. 10 years ago, I would have applied for sure.
  22. Unfortunately they use your ip address...so those games would be blacked out. I've had something similar happen to me in reverse. I was trying to watch the Coyotes in AZ on NHL.TV...and I couldn't. The place I was staying did not carry the channel they were on. Blackout rules are outdated and need to be updated to current times. It's kind of like having the a city speed limit of 12mph for horseless carriages so the horses don't get spooked (actual law in Connecticut from 1901) in today's society. https://nordvpn.com/??? You can connect to different servers around the world allowing you to appear as if you are in a certain region... I think...
  23. Although we didn't get into Tesla early enough (when it was $70/share), we were able to get in a month or so over the recent 5 for 1 split. The thing is that Tesla is more than a car company -- they are solar, batteries, and more. Musk is using his technologies to reduce carbon and it makes sense... and is working. It also seems that Tesla is a bit of a novelty stock for millennials, too. They would rather own a piece of a company not necessarily because they are looking at dividends or P/E ratio, but because they want to be part of something else. I don't know when the price of many of these stocks will start correcting, but it will have to happen at some point. I guess Musk's net worth increased more in the past 12 months than Bill Gates' entire net worth. Crazy...
  24. We recently got a new iPhone and can receive one year of Apple TV. We already subscribe to Disney, Netflix, YoutubeTV and Prime (via various children, etc.). Is AppleTV a good service?
  25. Congrats!!!!!! Perhaps we can reserve the jokes for a later date...
