I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure Cubs fans (as well as other fans) hate the Mets/their fans so I'm guessing they didn't really mind the Brewers making it over them. Plus when you're the best team in the NL you're going to be the favorite no matter who they would've potentially played anyway.

People complaing about Lou Pinella resting all of his starters. The game condition was terrible, plus it was getaway day. Be pissed at the Brewers for sucking all month.

Force at every base, Delgado having a better year than Beltran. I don't blame Lou for benching everyone, playing in that rain obviously increases the risk of an injury.

Two "hits" but the inning should be over.

But games like this are why he was signed! When the struggles to score runs, you need to bunt. When a team is struggling to score runs, that means they're not getting many hits most likely. Giving up an out takes away the total chances a team has of getting a hit.
