  1. They come and go. It might be time to feed the yuku beast again. Patience, everyone (because I don't know the procedure for doing so).
  2. That seems to happen regularly when FSN carries the WMLW feed.
  3. Give it time. Why not tomorrow, to set an example for all of the schoolkids in attendance?
  4. The home run inning has had two winners tonight. The first winner (on Bill's HR) is someone with a name matching one of our posters. The second guy (Art from Reedsburg) had only a $50 jackpot but had picked Rickie to go deep. $200 for each contestant. Nice.
  5. If they do it on Thursday, I'll tip my cap to him on behalf of you all.
  6. I regretted the absence of "Dream Police" when Mark DiFelice made his entrance. I don't know if he vetoed that music selection or if the stadium contest played during his jog to the field precluded the playing of special music. But I didn't have too many other regrets on the night.
  7. Oh, wow, so that really was what he said. I was listening to the interview on my walkman as we walked back to the Giants lot, but the noise around us made it hard for me to tell for sure. Should we just start an informal pool on how soon the bench-clearing brawl erupts? Do the Pirates really feel that bad about the iPhone commercial last fall? It was a fun game. The Brewers should seriously consider having five-spot innings more often. There is hardly any inning when that would be inappropriate.
  8. The hawing and bensheeps households will be in section 303. Thanks again, Jake, if you're reading. Just a tip: if you're still on-the-fence about the May 25 Dew Deck, you might want to decide soon. Seats are going fast for that date (hopefully because of bf.net purchasing).
  9. Section 217, row 8, seats 1-2. This is the family section in front of the press box. You can turn around and say hi to Robb Edwards. This area is pretty reasonable during Cubs games; as an example, the ratio of Brewer-to-Cub fans on Easter night was about 75%-25%. I'd like to get back what we paid for these tickets: $29 each (reflecting the season ticket discount) plus $8 for the general parking pass. Walking up and buying loge infield seats for a marquee game would cost $55 per ticket plus $15 for general parking. The family members for whom we originally saved these tickets now don't think they can attend either game. Please help us keep these seats in the hands of Brewers fans. Thanks. Edit: If you are just looking for tickets to resell, please look elsewhere. I'd like to give Brewerfan members a chance to attend these games.
  10. Indeed they have. Well, I guess I can lock this thread.
  11. The Brewers' probable pitchers page has "To be announced" for the Tuesday 4/28 start. Based on the recent rotation order, that should be Dave Bush's spot. Have I missed something? Why would there be a question about his next start? The rest of the page (probable pitchers for today through Thursday 4/30) follows the recent rotation order.
  12. That could benefit you in Liz Waters. It's got the relative remoteness of the lakeshore dorms (plus, for some rooms, a lake view) but still a pretty central location. Plus, it's not a tower, which I would personally consider an asset.
  13. Maybe they think Brewer fans are at fault for the hurricane hitting last fall and Miller Park facilitating that "home" series with the Cubs. Sounds like airtight logic to me. Not to take this way off topic, but BDK, Jack Wilson?!?
  14. I was playing "Dream Police" on my iPod for my man Mark DiFelice. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  15. During that game, I was thinking to myself, "can I really afford an Obermueller jersey? Because if he...you know...I should probably get one."
  16. Chiming in late due to the internet cutting out last night...I put on a Brewers cap, in rally position, during Corey's RBI at-bat last night. Don't underestimate the rally cap. Keep up the improved work, Brewers.
  17. That game is immortalized in the WOAH SOLVDD forum. Sadly, the cheese sandwich images did not survive the migration from ezboard to Yuku.
  18. I know which guy you mean, and he's none of the previously mentioned. After seeing him a few times, I figured he was a Brewers employee of some sort.
  19. One of them being Tom Hanks!http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/shows/bosom.jpg
  20. 81 and sunny in Madison. Imagine my joy at being inside the library for another 2 1/2 hours (though at least I'm paid for it).
  21. Now that I've seen the play on a screen bigger than mlb.com's, I'm astonished (in a good way) at how quickly he got that throw off. Nice, Bill.
  22. It's your lucky day. The game is being replayed at 7 tonight.Good. I might look away briefly after Hall's web gem in the 8th, though. My mother sent me an email after today's game that includes this comment: Edit: I should point out that she did not have FSN access when Stairs was with the Brewers, so she wouldn't have known he used to play for Milwaukee.
  23. Matt freakin' Stairs. New entry on the enemies list. However, Dave Bush has zoomed to the top of my "next player tee purchase" list. Also, props to Cory and Bob for calling it right. I hope this game is replayed tonight.
  24. I'd like to tip my cap to the bold black font.
