  1. CRAMP. That's a cramp.
  2. Fergy just talked a ref into throwing a flag.
  3. It's not where he hits the ground, it's where he starts to slide. They definitely spotted him correctly.
  4. Let's have a time consuming 7 pt drive here.
  5. They're just letting this guy out of the pocket too easily.
  6. Just a bad throw. Not a bad route, or anything else. Just a bad throw.
  7. need to make some adjustments early or this guy's going to run for 200 yards. Looks like they're already dropping a spy back. At least Leonhard's got some common sense to adjust.
  8. If you're only rushing 3, it seems like you should have available personnel to have a spy out there. Wow.
  9. I think Allen was running hurt that game and Cryst just absolutely refused to adjust or try anything different. It is what it is, we're at where we're at now, and if they win this game, it's a nice note to go out on.
  10. Nice start for the D
  11. Pitt QB3 Beville played ok, put in a really tough position after the injury to their backup. The amount of camera time the broadcast gave to Pickett was super annoying. Dude didn't wanna play, why did Pitt provide him with travel and seating? (or did he travel on his own?)
  12. I don't know how that play is reviewed and they can come to the conclusion that it's not a TD.
  13. watching the music city bowl and it's actually embarrassing how egrigiously obvious Purdue is being with fake injuries to slow down the Tennessee offense. they are faking cramps every other play and the popping up and jogging off the field.
  14. No sense trying to parse anything Rodgers says. It's just talk. If they win the SB would not surprise me if he retires. If they don't, any option is on the table. Exactly. Rodgers is such a weird dude that whatever he says is just literally *words*. Even if it's not, he can twist it around to mean what he needs it to mean at some random point in the future anyways, so interpreting it now to mean anything is a fruitless exercise.
  15. 20 points on 23 FG attempts is not efficient basketball at all.
  16. Interestingly, Jim Kaat is a 2.0 WAR per 162 games pitcher, while Tommy John is 2.9 WAR per 162 games, per B-R. John was also a top 5 CY finisher 3 times, while Kaat was a top five finisher only once.
  17. Due to transfers/injuries/H&S protocols, UCLA didn't have any/enough defensive linemen. And no, you can't just put an offensive lineman in there. You can't. I know that's what someone is going to suggest, but you can't. A bowl game is supposed to be a reward for a good season. Putting a guy out of position, or even worse, making someone play 2-way because people don't get to watch a bowl game is a punishment. Getting dogged and getting your ass kicked for 3 hours while out of position is a good way for someone to blow an ACL or shred an ankle. As much as it sucks, the right decision was made.
  18. The days of two way players have, sadly, ended.
  19. Bucks are 13-24 from 3 at halftime against Orlando. Portis is 5-5 from 3, and leads the team with 17 points. That's some lights out shooting.
  20. Voice of the NFL on tv for a long time. RIP coach.
  21. NCST's coach getting pretty salty with UCLA, saying they should have let them know 2-3 days ago. I'm sure it sucks and frustrating for everyone involved, but everyone has to be aware that the possibility exists right now this could happen. Casting blame and pointing fingers just isn't a good look (IMO... of course). It's too bad that NCST traveled for no reason or couldn't find a new opponent, but it is what it is.
  22. I'm going to guess that they won't risk losing another significant chunk of a season after 2020. They lost basically an entire season worth of gate revenue and 2/3 of a season of tv revenue in 2020. They lost a lot of gate revenue in 2021. In a hypothetical scenario where they lockout doesn't end until sometime into the season, they'd need a few weeks of ST to get ready, and then you're talking middle may/June to start games, so a 100 - 120 game schedule. They're just not going to allow themselves to lose that much revenue AGAIN.
  23. Miami has 17 pts on NOs d. Brady got shutout. tua >>> Brady
  24. McCarthy is a bad coach, but not a dislikable person. I hated him as a coach and was glad when he left. I didn't hate him as a person. Tom Brady seems like a douche. I wouldn't like losing to McCarthy, but could stomach it a little easier.
  25. Josh Johnson pressed into service as the Ravens starting QB today due to health/safety protocols and Jackson not being able to play yet, and he's not done a terrible job as the Ravens are now fighting for just a wild card slot, and their defense just laid a huge egg. Joe Burrow has thrown for 525 yards.
