If you use the phone, it takes forever so I thought I'd try the live chat feature. Kind of hard to get a point across or get a question answered when they seem to "stick tot he script". I just want to check my email. That's all, is that too much to ask?
I just tried to get some sort of answer and used their live chat option. I was talking to a real person, most likely working overseas based on the wording used, and got nowhere. My question was ignored as they tried to play the "unplug the modem" game they always play. I ended the session right there. The modem is fine, robot. Answer my question please.
Peavey, hearing that frustrates me more because those are the two main pages I'm trying to access and can't. I can get the MSN page to load up in IE, but in Firefox I just get their background blue with no text. With Yahoo, nothing happens at all.
Yep, Charter. Unfortunately, my specific websites are still not working. I tried what Bullox suggested as well to no avail. Either the site loads immediately or not at all. Very frustrating.
Anybody else here having any internet connection issues today? I've been unable to load Yahoo, Hotmail and a few others all day. Click on the bookmark and the page never loads. No error message or anything, the little "loading circle" just keeps spinning. For what it's worth, I use Firefox and just for fun I tried IE as well and that didn't work either. I'd like to check my fantasy teams and email, but I can't.
Every once in a while it gets moved up there. I just look for a channel labeled RSNa (regional sports net. alternate). Who knows why, surely it's a complex reason because the game is on ESPN tonight. Edit-I'm getting it on both 669 and 739.
Head over to Jolly Bob's on Willy St. Never been there, but I've heard good things. Places like that are the one reason I'd like to live on the east side/downtown rather than west side. There aren't many neighborhood dives/bars on the west side.
I doubt I'll watch any either. I like the winter Olympics (because of hockey), but there really isn't anything in the summer Olympics that I care to watch. Despite my indifference, I hope all of our athletes perform well.
My real problem with this is that if Keith was drinking all morning, why would he ruin it by doing yardwork? Usually, one does yardwork and then kicks back with a couple of cool ones. Keith, you were onto something and then ruined it all by deciding to get productive and mow the lawn. I'll bet you he kicked that mower a few times before going to the shotgun. Kick. Kick. Boom! That will show ya!
I bet that man can party with the best of 'em! Drinking all morning? Define "all morning"--is that since 1AM, 5AM?? Either way, don't take that crap from your mower, Keith, show it who's boss.
So the guy hits 2 opponents, tries to hit a 3rd and then nails a fan. Weak. He really fired the ball that hit the fan too. What a stupid thing to do--he intended to injure someone (likely a player, not a fan) and now he's gonna pay for it.
Kohl's West Towne was up to date in the kid's department. I can't speak for the adult clothes. The kids section had Sabathia, Fielder, Braun, Weeks, Hardy, Hall and Sheets jersey t-shirts in gold and navy.
I gotta say, I had no idea what NHRA was when I clicked on this thread. I can't stand racing of any kind, but I've got to think they have an official website that may have the info you're looking for. This would seem to be helpful to a newcomer. There's a section called "The Basics".
1. I was 10 in 1982 and as a kid it was exciting. We'd go to our Pepsi/Coke Fan Club games, but the result was still more important to our Dads. I think I'm much more hyped now than then. 2. I'm hopefully optimistic, but I realize it's gonna be a fight with about 5 other teams (wild card) and 2 other for the division. 3. Football season doesn't really start for me until baseball is over...ever. 4. Favre hoopla just annoys me. I don't like him or the Packers so I'm sick of hearing it.
Tell that to an old roommate of mine. Roomie #1 left town for the week and put me in charge of his tank (probably 10 feet long) and all was well. Then I headed out for the weekend leaving Roomie #2 in charge. His idea of taking care of the fish was to dump a ton of food in there and he considered it done. I got back and they were all dead--the sheer amount of food polluted the waterand killed over 50 fish that I had to clean up.
Scott Downs (Toronto, LHP, 1.65 ERA in 43.2 innings) for Salome. I am clueless when it comes to choosing minor leaguer players to include in a trade. I'm just guessing that Toronto's catchers are old (Zaun, Barajas) and could use a prospect.
