  1. You'd think these were all being held for last minute season ticket package purchasers, but they're at the point where they needed to release the tickets.
  2. Oh crap, I didn't read the description beyond the 100 % wool disclaimer. Why anybody buys 99% of the hats on the market is beyond me, especially those designer ones.
  3. I tried just to see what was available, and I kept getting an error message about picking an invalid price range. It did show about 10 different available locations. Luckily, one of us called in a favor to a work account and ended up with 10th row behind the plate.
  4. Are you looking to order one or just go pick one up at a store? I looked on New Era's website and was surprised to see that the "official on-field hat" is the 100% polyester model. They do offer a 100% wool model on their site.
  5. My daughter went to Disney with her Grandmother a few years back and this was BY FAR the highlight of her trip. I've got an awesome picture of my daughter hugging Cinderella that is just priceless. The look on her face says it all, like she just met her hero.
  6. This one is the most amazing of the thread so far, in my mind. I'm surprised no friends have dragged you along.I'm not sure why I've never gone. I always consider it, but never go.
  7. No, but two of them at Woodman's probably cost about the same as one at Chairman Bob's Mark-Up Emporium (or Pick N Save/Copps, if you prefer).
  8. Sorry to sidetrack the ticket talk, but I wanted Hawing to know I went to the head of liquor and he assured me there were no enemy schedules to be found. I'm gonna keep an eye on this situation.
  9. I'm looking for one parking pass for Opening Day, April 5, preferably in the general lot.
  10. A co-worker tried to hand me one of those other schedules thinking I'd think it was a Brewers schedule. Funny guy, but it didn't work.
  11. You need to start boozing it up, we've got/had them in the liquor store. I heard a grumble today that there are schedules for a certain other team available as well. I'm not pleased and may make them all disappear tomorrow.
  12. I've never joined myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. and have no intention of doing so. (Thanks to Patrick for mentioning this earlier.)
  13. Great news! I was hoping we would be able to do this again in 2010.
  14. --I've never been to Walmart...and that will never change. --I've never drank coffee or tea --I've never been to the Farmer's Market on the Square (I've lived in Madison for 22 years).
  15. Ross, it's never too cold to smoke cigars outside. I usually have a smoke going while I shovel. It is a lot nicer when the temps are pushing the mid-40s though.
  16. A ticket rep just informed me that they are only available for purchase at the stadium. Unfortunately, I'm not in Milwaukee so I can't swing by today.
  17. What does one of those cost for Opening Day? I'd be interested.
  18. Aside from sports (Olympic hockey), nothing (except for Seinfeld reruns). I am awaiting the new season of Deadliest Catch though.
  19. Security stopped a kid at the store last night who tried to walk out with a bag full of merchandise (soaps, lotions, beauty stuff) worth about 60 bucks. Most likely he was "set up" by his Mom who tried to have him walk out the door carrying the stolen merch so she wouldn't take the fall. After all, what 10-12 year old boy steals those things? They don't, normally they steal magazines, candy, etc. So the kid gets escorted to a holding area while we recover the products. While he's asked to sit down he stands up and takes two swings at store employees who are trying to hold the door shut. All the while he's yelling and banging on the door. I am passing by and am asked to assist in backup. I pop my head in the door...the kid looks at me and says, "...And who the 'f' are you?" My tongue still hurts from biting it. I had at least ten replies, but said nothing but "sit down". This kid had nothing behind his eyes, way too young to be that full of anger and way too small to have no fear of a guy my size. The whole situation was just sad.
  20. That sucks. Deadliest Catch is one of the few TV shows I watch (aside from sports) and I always thought he was the most entertaining captain on the show. I hope his kids take over the boat and carry on the tradition.
  21. Ah yes, Hawing, I just love those regulars. Got plenty of them myself...
  22. Oh well, I see tonight didn't go as well as last night. A road split versus a tough opponent is fine by me. Slightly disappointing after last night's domination, but it's still 2/4 points.
  23. I'm fine with how cold it is. As long as it's not snowing, I'm good.
  24. Oh well, road split this weekend. Badgers fell behind 4-1 early and lost 6-5 Saturday night.
