1 Cameron is still the best #2 hitter assuming Braun or Hart isn't moved there 2) It didn't make a difference 3) Yost treats Hart like an ugly stepchild at times 4) Yost abandoning it waas what is idiotic
But you don't know if it even was $60 million guaranteed. It could easily have been $8m in 2009, $10m in 2010, $12m in 2011 with $15m team options for 2012 and 2013. That would be a $60m contract that Fielder likely would have refused.
Hopefully Sheets gets his control back, but I'm sure what ever Bill and Brian were blabbling on about was more important than noticing Sheets having command problems.
Counsell does have a higher career OBP than Hart. This year, he is only slightly lower than Hart. I would rather have Hart in the 5 hole where he'll have more guys on base. I'd rather have Hart actually get to bat in late innings.
Yost was the same guy who had a player who hasn't be able to hit all year in AAA leading off Sunday. I think he's decided you need a speedy lefty to lead off, bat be damned. I'm waiting for Juan Pierre to show up any day now.
He isn't that good in CF. He makes that money more do to hiss tardom than his game and while that great for Nintendo, not sure if will help the Brewers that much.
Bush, 3 ERs in 6 innings versus the Twins A team mostly due to two bunt singles = DFA him! Seth McClung, 2 ERs in 6 innings vs the Twins B team=great find !
