    How about placing the venting thread at the top of in the "in game thread" forum, instead of in the major league forum, where one needs to traverse over there and back, any time they want to make a post which might be deemed as negative. Or just open two browser windows for those times when you just can't hold it in.

    3 of 4 of ours are good. I had to scrape some glue off inside the nuts of two so the bats would thread. The nut is crooked on the other so the bat is on his shoulder and appears to bend in his hands. Dad got that one. I fix it sometime.

    Just my opinion but it looks to me like according to the rule the batter interfered with the pitcher making the play but since he was out anyway, it wasn't called. Had there been runners on and less than two outs, interference should have been called and my interpretation of the rule is that the runners can't advance, i.e. they have to return to their original base. JMO from reading the rule, nothing authoritative here.

    Here's the rest of the 7.08(b) comment: 7.08(b) He intentionally interferes with a thrown ball; or hinders a fielder attempting to make a play on a batted ball; Rule 7.08(b) Comment: A runner who is adjudged to have hindered a fielder who is attempting to make a play on a batted ball is out whether it was intentional or not. If, however, the runner has contact with a legally occupied base when he hinders the fielder, he shall not be called out unless, in the umpire?s judgment, such hindrance, whether it occurs on fair or foul territory, is intentional. If the umpire declares the hindrance intentional, the following penalty shall apply: With less than two out, the umpire shall declare both the runner and batter out. With two out, the umpire shall declare the batter out. If, in a run-down between third base and home plate, the succeeding runner has advanced and is standing on third base when the runner in a run-down is called out for offensive interference, the umpire shall send the runner standing on third base back to second base. This same principle applies if there is a run-down between second and third base and succeeding runner has reached second (the reasoning is that no runner shall advance on an interference play and a runner is considered to occupy a base until he legally has reached the next succeeding base). It talks about run-downs but gives the general principle. It looks like no advancing to me.

    The producers of the 1981 movie stopped Clayton Moore from wearing the mask at personal appearances so BOOOO! I grew up with the 50s show along with Sgt. Preston of the Yukon, Sky King(big crush on that Penny), Rin Tin Tin, Kit Carson, Hopalong Casady. Probably no one knows any of those shows. I had a hat and mask but the coolest thing I had was my Davy Crockett coonskin cap.

    98 pitches over 6 innings for Reyes with 4 BB. Not seeing a horrible pattern in it. As for CV, 4 IP, 66 pitches is plenty.

    If Vargas pitched like crap today, then there are going to be alot of angry people for just about every brewer game. If you're telling me just about every game the pitcher will load the bases 3 innings in a row, yes, I will be angry. Pitchers can't live like that.

    Johnny needs to hit 7th with that OBP. Batting 8th he wouldn't take the walk opportunities available to clear the pitcher.

    Why does everyone base so much off forecasts? I hate when people do that...LOOK AT THE RADAR!! Radar only shows what's happening now. Rain/storms can develop where there are none at the moment. Not everything moves in from elsewhere and what's currently elsewhere can intensify before it moves in. Forecast models take conditions that can lead to changes into consideration. How well and reliably they do that is up for debate.
