Actually, since Moeller will be catching, he'll probably adjust the have Moeller hit 7th and Branyan 6th. If it were me, I'd keep the left/right alternating and put JJ 6th. In the first 3 games JJ has shown a good approach and that he's not over-matched.

Every time I see EZ supporter I think of re-engineered athletic equipment that's faster to get on and off. Is that peculiar?

this is a perfect example for all you stat junkies that MOST stats are very decieving IMO. It's a perfect example of why small sample stats are deceiving. As the sample increases into the hundreds or thousands of PAs or IPs these kinds of things even out and the reliability increases. So this example demonstrates nothing about the reliability of stats in general.

Heh, first hand accounts say no one can recognize ol' Wes.

I'd rank the choices so far 1) underline 2) nothing 3) the blue color. Speaking for the visually challenged, the blue makes the already small font more difficult to read. Maroon may work better. I did really like the underline but then I prefer function over form.

What do you mean by sign off? What kind of connection do you have? I have to login any time I pull a new IP address such as when I VPN to work, when I disconnect from work or if I recycle my DSL connection.

    Did you read the thread?

It could likely depend on whether you have a global account or separate local accounts.

Thanks Brian, but I do 98% of my Brewerfan perusing on my work provided laptop and can't upgrade or add software unless it becomes company standard. I'll probably try Firefox on the family PC sometime, I assume it can coexist with IE. I'd need to keep IE the default browser as my wife and kids aren't that technologically adaptable at this point and use IE at school and elsewhere so they need to become more adept at it first.

Brian, As a member of the bifocal crowd, a distinct minority here, I'm struggling with the smaller default text font size. If others are ok with the font size, I'm wondering if coding changes can be made to allow resizing the text in IE. I notice that the headlines of daily brew articles are resizable but the body isn't and the headlines of feature articles aren't resizable but the body is. Also, I notice that the default font size for poll text seems to be like before and poll text is resizable but regular post/reply text isn't resizable. forum.brewerfan.net/viewforum.php?f=3.showMessage?

Yeah, started about an hour ago for me. I'd click to mark a forum read and it would log me off. I cleared my cookies and it seems ok now.

That's what Bill speculated. Where are you that you got it on ESPN2? On FSN they said Brewers/Astros was only on ESPN2 in Boston and NY.

That's Daron on the FOX broadcast. Just as much screwy info but a lot less hiper. It's an improvement but he still sucks IMO.

I will be sad if Bonds passes Henry. Me too. I started going to Braves games in 1956 and Henry was my favorite growing up. Notice how we old timers still call him Henry like Earl and Blaine always did. It saddens me more that the offensive era, smaller parks and possible roids use(I'll wait till its proven to remove the possible) made it easier for Barry. But that's life. The other thing that bothers me is that younger people think of Henry primarily as a home run hitter and not the 5 tool player we got to see in Milwaukee. His 76% stolen base rate is the same as Mays but because it wasn't a running era and Braves managers didn't run him much he had very few attempts until the 60s when Maury Wills made stealing fashionable. He wound up with about 2/3 of Mays steal numbers.

The third strike bounced in the dirt, off Moeller and back halfway to Ben who threw to first for the out.

Why bring the infield up in the 5th inning? Because Ned likes to play for the big inning?
  22. whizkid
Anyone listening? What does this mean?: Pena grounded into double play second to first to first, Jimenez out at second.
