  1. At least the Brewers are easy to spot in the audio. They're one of the few teams with a woman calling in.
  2. 16th: another one that's hard to spell… Louis Crowe? (Buena Park CA)
  3. I think it was this guy: Scott Serigstad
  4. From Perfect Game… Chad McClanahan Thomas Jankins Trever Morrison Gabriel Garcia (I think this is the right Gabe)
  5. Gabriel García, Broward (sp) College 14th round, I think. Hails from Puerto Rico.
  6. JSOnline is one step ahead of mlb.com: http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/382572821.html The page is currently updated to include McClanahan.
  7. Morrison must have been round 13.
  8. The draft is going so fast today that the audio is next to impossible to follow. Since the mlb.com tracker hasn't updated at all today, all I can gather are bits and pieces. The Brewers have drafted a guy named Morrison, so we have another musical connection. And Dan Plesac's son was just selected by someone; the team has slipped my mind. The only thing I'm sure of is that I'm posting to the right thread because we're still before round 20.
  9. Villar's just as valuable at 3B as he is at 2B. If a player can defend 2B and 3B approximately equally, he's going to be more valuable at 2B because it's tougher to find offense at that spot. Think of Craig Counsell as an example. Teams were happy to play him at 2B for an extended period. But even though he defended 3B just fine, he didn't have the power you'd hope for at that position.

  11. When you guys quote stuff, if you can provide a link, we can put it in the official thread so it's easier to find later. Thanks.
  12. Lucas Erceg encounters both the wall and the tarp with this catch. A dude near the microphone says "He broke his face!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC2LbdGaVBo
  13. The Louisville Athletics stat page has Corey's SB/CS at 44/52. I've addressed the discrepancy in the official thread Corey Ray post. I don't like changing an author's information, so I made it clear that I was the one who made the change.
  14. But the irrational thought process of this board continues to boggle my mind Stop that. Statements like that are in way too many of your posts.
  15. This article? 2016 MLB Draft Prospects: Corey Ray, Outfielder, University of Louisville The article was written on June 4th. That would seem to coincide with the 44/52 in the report updated on June 7th.
  16. There's a discrepancy between the two reports in the Corey Ray post in the Official Draft thread. I'd bet on 44 steals in 52 attempts, but we should probably look for a third site to serve as a tie-breaker. EDIT: I see the Baseball Cube link that TPlush posted says 44/44.
  17. Thanks for the information, Patrick.

  19. And LouisEly, is there a show more tab below pick 60? That's what happened to me, just click that and the rest of the picks should show up. That page wasn't updating for a while, but it's working now. It was showing picks 1-60, then it had an alphabetical list of names who hadn't yet been picked.
  20. I don't have his birth date, but Perfect Game lists Mario's age as 17 years, 6 months.
  21. Mario Feliciano, catcher. Ben Sheets looked a little stiff.
  22. Aren't most suspensions cut in approximately half, which would split the difference between one side or the other "winning"?
  23. Corey doesn't cut his nails if he's playing well.
