  1. It's a little thing that can give some of the marginal players a reason to stick with us.
  2. Winker might very well be done, and if so I' feel kind of bad mostly because if your 29 and have that big of an issue with your neck already that is not an exciting future prospect.
  3. Chourio already with 2 hits today, here's to hoping last night was the turning point for him in AA on the results side.
  4. It just feels like giving up the lead followed by Adames put a few players completely mentally out of the game right now.
  5. Unless my recollection is off Misiorowski has only really had anything like struggles during the innings he was extending himself deeper into the game. I would guess if he is going to have that type of command from tonight and the no-hit type stuff he won't be in Carolina the whole season.
  6. Not as bad as my recollection then. So 10 years isn't too bad relatively speaking.
  7. It sure seems like they go through these awfully fast
  8. We shall henceforth refer to this is the Transaction of Nottingham.
  9. Lightrail for Twins games is great in my experience. It gets really crowded of course, but they run some extra trains right around then and it often beats waiting to exit a parking garage.
  10. I could see parts of Door County putting something together to draw some people in that direction.
  11. Everyone looks great with an OPS north of .900 like he does at the moment, but especially on the current roster with the contact, speed, right handed and positional flexibility he would still be very valuable with an .800 OPS. Helping give platoon friendly bats to some of the other players and some off days at the same time is great, and I do like the ability to tighten the defense even more in the late innings by letting Rowdy sit. The numbers already indicate Miller is slightly above average defensively at first, and he's got good tools to see that get even better with some more experience. Definitely a great pick-up especially just for cash...
  12. It is objectively silly contract language though because it could become mathematically impossible if 7 other teams had the same language..
  13. I think it's time to rebrand Am Fam back to the original...
  14. Who had Winker with the infield single and going 1st to the 3rd on a single on their bingo cards tonight? And its Miller time
  15. Brown Jr. with a very nice night at the plate 4-5 with a HR raising the OPS from .648 to .712
  16. Jeter only wishes he was that good, go Turang.
  17. Miller could be here a long time if he keeps hitting .343. He won't but it sure is fun right now, and I love the increase in base running plays this year.
  18. Yelich should get all the credit in the world for breaking up the DP there.
  19. Well I can guarantee at least 1 Brewer starter will make the All Star game, to pitch in the HR derby.
  20. Any actuaries or insurance agents have any data on the claims difference between the 2 states?
  21. We'll see how things go throughout the season, but Quero's current HR pace is good for any 20 year old let alone a catcher. Even playing a reduced schedule fitting a catcher he is up to a 30 HR pace.
  22. You know the injuries are bad when the fans have to go on the DL.
  23. We know he hates hitting at the Trop, so he should get at least 1 game off this series.
