At least those guys were likable. I think in some weird way Yuni will be a fan favorite and get a decent ovation this weekend and on opening day.

To be fair he will be 36 when he is done with the Brewers.

The same can be said about the people overly optimistic about the signing of a pitcher that has a career 4.45 ERA and saying he is the second best pitcher on the team. If he is the second best pitcher this is not a good team.

Unofortunately I am not very optimistic as I have seen him pitch in person many times with the Twins, Reds, and Cardinals. He is due for an off year and an injury: 2013: 90 IP, 4.90 ERA 2014: 150 IP, 4.75 ERA 2015: 140 IP, 4.40 ERA (We actually salvage something and trade him at the deadline)

Is it possible for Lohse to have a couple of rehab type starts in the minors or is that not allowed?

Actually a little surprised he never played any first base for the Brewers which is the exact number of games Alex Gonzalez has played at first in his career.

Big game for the Bucks tonight, if they want to catch the Hawks they pretty much have to win tonight and Saturday against them. While March has been rather cold around here Monta Ellis is on fire hitting 53% of his shots and scoring 26 points a game and still managing six assists.

Yeah I read some tweets from Tom H that he was going to to that and actually was with Uecker for half an inning during the broadcast. Would like to hear that but don't know if it is available anywhere.

About half the pilot aired and the rest was some nonsense with Packer and the rest of the Office. Was not a fan of what they showed of the pilot.

What is the 2014 Bullpen looking like?

That is the thing with this bullpen, plenty of them have options left including Henderson. If he fails bring one of the other guys up or vice verse. The Brewers have much more flexibility than last year when they felt they had to stick with guys because of guaranteed contracts. If the bullpen fails this year I will put much more of the blame on Melvin. -
I don't think they are appealing to the casual sports fan though once they decided to give their network the the exclusive rights to the games. The marketing of the WBC in the USA is real bad.

Don't believe you can watch anywhere but the MLB Network, I don't even think there is a streaming option. They already charged me for MLB tv but don't even have any WBC games as an option to watch.

Amazing that there were 21 days of 50 or higher last March with plenty of 60's, 70's and even 80's mixed in and this year we may not get a single 50 degree day in March.

Yeah, average high is around 42 so I would definitely take it at this point.

We all clicked the link, didn't we? Agreed. But...they didn't release anything that definitively clears Braun. Which is what makes it odd. They didn't publish him for a reason...what was the reason? What other proof do they have? I wish they would disclose this, since Braun may be limited in what he can say it would be nice if a member of the media would support him if they have information to do so. -
Yes, when he is forced to give Ayon and Gooden quality minutes he deserves some credit. Had to rely more heavily on Udoh, Dalembert and Daniels as well.

I don't think it has been mentioned already but you also pay $2 every time you want to upgrade up to the next section so you still have to pay something to move up. I also think they could have started in the Terrace reserved and provided a loge diamond box or a club infield.

It always annoyed me that he was taken off the ballot after his first year as he certainly is way better than the types of players that get removed after year one. However, it is going to be such a long time before his next chance or trial to be elected that I'll save the debate for another day. -

Roenicke, if Crosby, Murphy or anybody else plays more than they deserve or a loogy pitches to a righty when he shouldn't it always goes back to Roenicke.
