  1. He also passed Prince Fielder in RBI on Sunday and is currently 6th in Brewers history.
  2. In order for the Bucks to build with younger players they really need to fire Hammond however the chances of that are pretty close to zero with the contract extension he recently signed. He has to somehow justify the trade he made to ownership and is going to sign one or more of his free agents to dumb contracts.
  3. More the reason to drop him down in the order.
  4. It sure is looking more and more likely that 2014 will be the last for Weeks here.
  5. He could revert back for whatever reason and the last couple years could be a fluke. Suppan still resembled Lohse more than any other pitcher in history for three years.
  6. From baseball reference, most similar to Jeff Suppan by age, just saying: 22.Willard Nixon (987) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 23.Sean O'Sullivan (981) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 24.Frankie Rodriguez (979) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 25.Chris Carpenter (976) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 26.Daniel Cabrera (968) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 27.Kyle Lohse (965) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 28.Kyle Lohse (980) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 29.Kyle Lohse (976) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 30.Jason Marquis (960) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 31.Jaime Navarro (978) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 32.Jaime Navarro (978) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 33.Scott Erickson (943) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 34.Scott Erickson (948) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 35.Steve Trachsel (944) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C 37.Scott Erickson (949) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 C
  7. I hope that is the case as I really don't want Thornburg (or Burgos) to be misused like last year.
  8. The problem is his OBP is also .300. I agree he is an exciting player amd great defender, just wish he got on base more.
  9. Just noticed today he is only 16 hits away from 1,000 so he will probably reach the milestone as a Brewer. Also kind of amazed to see that Weeks and Yuni started getting regular playing time in 2005 but Yuni has over 100 more hits than Weeks.
  10. I agree that I wouldn't call somebody stupid for one DUI as stats show most don't get a second one and learn their lesson. However if people are getting multiple DUI's I have no problem calling them stupid and I do hope they get "strung up" as they are a danger to society.
  11. He is a piece of garbage, hoping he fails miserably in the minors.
  12. I guess I am a little surprised because I see Gallardo at the Boston Market, Chili's and other places in Brookfield with his family more than I have seen any other player. Based on that I thought he was a family man that would not put his family and others in danger like that. Real poor decision.
  13. Yeah, I think March was the coldest since like 1983. For many people that is the coldest March ever and does make it unusual.
  14. This is the majors, if you are already a borderline player and then perform that bad you will be out of a job fast. The GM would be foolish not to get rid of him.
  15. For once this might actually work out for the Brewers with Bianchi coming back. It would be nice to dump Yuni but Gonzalez probably would be the better fit and he has spent time with them in the past.
  16. I fear they don't have a plan, they certainly didn't have a good one this year. I hope they realize how under fire they will be if the same thing happens next year. With that said, Halton/Gamel/Morris will be on the 40 man next year if they are with the organization.
  17. We are also paying for Miller Park every day.
  18. I'm hoping Bianchi or Green come back soon then both Yuni and Lali can be released and taken off the 40 man and Halton/Morris can be brought up until Hart comes back. The Brewers are likely going to be in the same spot next year and they probably should at least take a look at both to see who their best option is out of Morris/Halton/Gamel.
  19. That is even more funny that it came from the offical Dodgers account, I can't imagine the Brewers ever doing that to the Cardinals but kind of wish they would have a couple of years ago.
  20. I will be going to the first and if they are at least playing decent I will go to the second but if it looks like a sweep I don't want to be there with all of the "Miami Heat" fans. Hopefully there are some Bucks fans at the game I go to.
  21. But the NBA is filled with bad teams so they should be able to do it more often if Harris can do all of this against bad teams on a regular basis.
  22. 30 points and 19 rebounds is pretty good and not too many Bucks have shown the ability to make a shot at the end if regulation like Harris did.
  23. I'll agree with you that he is not a LOOGY as Gonzalez can't get any lefty out either.
  24. He can't be sent down without passing through waivers. That would be a huge positive if somebody actually claimed him.
  25. I'm happy that John Axford and Mike Gonzalez only have one year deals. I'm also happy that Melvin got lucky and didn't end up signing McGehee and Axford to long term deals when it looked like both were going to happen.
