  1. Thanks for bringing this up Stache and also volunteering your time. I agree it would be nice to have somewhat current content even if it is just links to the previous days Brewers game once the season begins or something of that nature.
  2. I would agree that Rogers is a lock after what he did last year, does not matter roster wise how bad he pitches. Now if he pitches well he could be a starter but I don't see a scenario where he is cut.
  3. I agree that this trade is a short term answer and not going to help them beyond this year but the East is really wide open beyond the Heat. If Redick gets them to the 7 seed it really isn't out of the question for the Bucks to make the Eastern Conference Finals.
  4. Was looking forward to seeing Harris and Lamb playing here for years to come so not a fan of the trade. We also get another power forward coming our way which we can never have enough of. It just seems this trade doesn't make sense now that Ellis is still around, would like it much more if they somehow got Smith for Ellis.
  5. The MLB union is too strong, especially after last year they will have a real difficult time ever suspending him.
  6. But then they would just jack the prices up even more. The whole point of scalping is usually to make more money than what you paid for. Disagree, the aftermarket price is what it is. The Packers have learned this and have increased the prices a decent amount the last few years to get closer to the aftermarket price. The Packers aftermarket price though is stable or even down. Brewers could do the same for opening day.
  7. Green is a utility player at best there is no stepping up and proving he belongs in the majors he is what he is. Khris Davis should be the one showing what he can do in the majors not Green. Meh, Green had a better year two years ago than Davis or Morris have ever had. Davis is only a year younger it is not like he is a 21 year old prospect.
  8. I would like to see Taylor Green step up and show he belongs in the majors.
  9. Dude. unreal To be fair it is not unreal at all as millions of Americans have done this and there have been many athletes in the past that have joined the military after going pro. Probably not a good comparison to the WBC though.
  10. It is one of the few threads around here with actual discussion, why would you lock it?
  11. Not a fan of Brantley offensively or defensively especially as a centerfielder.
  12. If it is ever confirmed that he took PEDs I think it will be more to recover from injuries than being able to hit home runs.
  13. I would agree with you but Braun himself has said there is more to the story, if he said something similar to your post I would not expect some sort of explanation someday.
  14. If he is innocent he can prove it down the road it won't be forever. If he doesn't prove it by the time he retires i will assume then he is guilty.
  15. As a previous linked article noted there are different degrees of expert consultants, if used as a consultant they never had any intention of having them talk during the trial or used as a witness, they wer behind the scenes experts.
  16. I would agree with this. I guess it could be because of his Dancing with the Stars appearance but people have really overreacted to how great he was as a Packer. Amazes me that people think his number should be retired when the guy the stadium is named after doesn't even have his number retired. If the Packers are thinking of retiring numbers maybe they should give Paul Hornung a call before he dies.
  17. The Yankees are dreaming, Rodriguez will do everything in his power to ensure he collects the 114 million. I think pretty much everybody on earth would take the fan abuse in exchange for 114 million. Plus, even though it does not matter as much anymore, Rodriguez wants to be the home run king.
  18. Deng has been hurt for a while as well, would be nice if he passed on attending as well.
  19. That is one good thing about the Bucks this year, Vegas was also low on the Bucks so as long as they get 15 more wins this year I will be heading back to Vegas ahead a few hundred dollars.
  20. I've been high on this team all year because I believe they are talented and young. It's discouraging to see so many continue to rip on them and complain about a trade that happened ten years ago but it makes it easy to see why their attendance is so bad.
  21. Yeah the last #1 picks to win a championship with their team was Tim Duncan and David robinson so tanking and getting the first pick doesn't guarantee anything. Any team that wins the championship has to get real lucky in the draft or have lots of money to buy a championship.
  22. With a win today they would have a 6 game lead over Philadelphia, the number nine seed, with about half the season to go. They really need to try to avoid the 8 seed which is currently Boston so they don't play the Heat in the first round. The Bucks can certainly beat the Knicks or Pacers in the first round and then avoid the Heat in the second round as well.
  23. It is legit, they are not going to risk breaking the law over a fan giveaway.
  24. Barry Bonds would disagree with you, he became jealous of Sosa and McGwire and wanted to show everyone how great the best player on the planet would be on steroids and it turned out to be better than Sosa and Mcgwire.
  25. He changed and hopefully many other writers eventually do too, thumbs up to him for actually trying to get some players inducted.
