  1. I can't recall ever leaving a Brewers game early and the Brewers ended up winning but today was that day. Left after 7 as it was a pretty miserable performance all game and we already saw Saturday's win. Listened on the way home and amazed they were able to pull that off based on what we saw prior.
  2. It's going to be Mitchell the majority of the time. Will see what happens and if they stick with him.
  3. That is pretty bad that they won't provide Brewers coverage for the $50 extra, just another reason why to never have auto renewal as the loyal customers are treated like crap. I have been getting MLB through T-Mobile for free for a number of years so not too bad to pay $99 and get every MLB game including the Brewers.(minus national games on Apple and who knows where else)
  4. It's only an exhibition game but baseball is back in Milwaukee tonight.
  5. Mitchell is the strong side of the platoon and Lockridge weak so don't think it was ever Lockridge vs Mitchell. With Perkins na
  6. The Brewers pricing for Opening Day kind of shocked me. My kids have off for Spring Break so considering going and $125 for Terrace Reserved seats, Worse than the playoffs and that is face value.
  7. On the surface the Jacob Waguespack reassignment doesn't look like much but he had a pretty good spring and with the 15 day rule for optioned pitchers he may be the first pitcher recalled if another pitcher is optioned or DFA.
  8. With the way Fischer played during the WBC I hope the Brewers bring him up to Milwaukee for the two exhibition games.
  9. He has another year of arbitration in 2027 if tendered by the Brewers.
  10. Guys like Raleigh, Harper and Bregman have really disappointed. Lots of talk prior to these games starting that Turang shouldn't be playing over Henderson but really Henderson should be playing over Bregman. Bottom of order guys Turang and PCA carrying this team.
  11. This right here, even following some of their recent patterns of trading prior to a player's final year, that wouldn't be until the 2029 season. Fully expect Turang to be here in 2028.
  12. Looking forward to a Zerpa/Ohtani matchup in the WBC. Rooting for Conreras and Chourio to get out of their slump.
  13. Looking forward to a number of Chourio/Made seasons together. Barring an extension both could be here until 2033. Not so sure Made will be here for his ceiling since he is projected to be a free agent after his a ge 26 season if all goes well.
  14. I don't think even the Brewers would option a guy four months to manipulate service time.
  15. I don't get to many games anymore living in Madison but went last night as Giannis was playing and always the chance he might not be a Buck much longer. Great start to the game, they were lights out. The second quarter was one of the worst I ever sat through, losing a 16 point lead in about 3 minutes. Were able to get a lead at the half but the defense was atrocious so wasn't much hope the lead would last. They also had like 5 points in the first six minutes of the second half so that was fun. Got good seats for real cheap but not worth it, Giannis played well in limited minutes but he was super frustrated and I don't blame him if he finally leaves this summer. Not a great end of an era as it felt like last night was the final nail.
  16. Murphy like Perkins a lot as well, still think Perkins is the front runner to make the big league club.
  17. Hopefully Black can produce at AAA and the Brewers don't hesitate to dump Bauers if he struggles. No doubt Bauers was very productive in September and into the playoffs but there are a couple of thousand plate appearances in the majors indicating that isn't the real Bauers. Black was kind of the same way last year, he struggled most of the year but September gave us hope and that has extending into Spring Training. He still has much to prove.
  18. $280 is face for 6 tickets so around $50 a ticket face value.
  19. Saw the Elvis documentary EPiC at IMAX in Madison and really enjoyed it. Liked how Elvis was narrating the whole movie with his comments, great job with the editing. Hard to describe but sometimes felt like a real concert and had to remind myself this was footage from 50+ years ago. Not a straight concert, goes back and forth to the concert, rehearsing, backstage, news conferences and other interactions with various people. Elvis died before I was born but always had the image of Fat Elvis in my mind but this takes place in the early 70s when he was still a great performer and had the look. Would recommend seeing at an IMAX if you have a chance but going to a more mass audience a week from now.
  20. I was on the list with the $19 deposit and could have bought a ticket for all six for $280 but then would take the entire family and would be $1,120. I was fine with that, go to the first two games and sell the rest but the Athletics threaten any sale of tickets and canceling the tickets if trying to sell and I can't afford just losing a bunch of money. So will use the money for a different road trip this season.
  21. I have not said much about Durbin but don't know why there would be surprise there is more shock with Durbin. The Brewers are known to get rid of players before they are free agents, don't usually trade productive players that are cheap.
  22. I don't really know what the best case scenario is. I think Chourio has ton more value to this franchise, especially long term if he primiarily plays CF. However, if he plays a ton in CF that means that Mitchell either failed or got hurt again.
  23. Exactly, it is like criticizing somebody for being positive in the optimism thread. I will go with Brice Turang making one more quantum leap and becoming MVP in 2026.
  24. I pretty much thought I was done with this team and they would be playing out the string with a bunch of guys I don't care about. Now they have a few younger players (Porter/Rollins/Thomas/Dieng) keeping me interested with Giannis looking to come back.
  25. Old friend Reese Olson will miss the entire 2026 season after undergoing a right shoulder labral repair. Brutal for him, didn't look good when he never returned for the playoff run but wishing him the best. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2026/02/reese-olson-to-miss-2026-season-following-shoulder-surgery.html
